Hi everyone- I’ve been reading each day to see how you all are and because I’ve been worried about MrsF. I’m not religious but I am spiritual and have been thinking about you a lot.
so life has been interesting…..dog1 had her cruciate ligament operation and then the wound got infected 😢 so I felt like a terrible dog mum - it was the way the vet nurse was with me…anyway she is getting better.
Decluttering- lots of admin done and gone…!!!!!! into the work shredder 🌼
Garden - got up to a certain amount out the back, all top dressed and gravelled. Doing the front next.
Health - more blood tests to come 😳
and the biggest thing - I have a new job! Same firm different department with a more human boss and lovely people who know and understand my illness and will make allowances.

Evening all
I had 10 days off at the end of March and had planned to tackle the Room of Doom. Unfortunately I just could not face it and then I was even more naughty and booked a mini break away.
When I arrived at the hotel, after I was checked in, I was given an envelope with my name on it and informed that I was the Guest of the Day.
No ticker tape parade or trumpet fanfare but apparently this did entitle me to a discount on dinner at the hotel. Considering breakfast was charged at £40 a pop I decided to give it a miss but did take advantage of the late check out also on offer.
Having seen the weather forecast for overnight temps below freezing I had packed my hot water bottle with fluffy cover just in case. I opened the door of the hotel room to discover it was a very toasty 23 degrees! Needless to say my 16 year old hot water bottle got decluttered before I returned home.
My hands have been quite painful lately so not as much decluttering as I would like but I will post numbers later.

@Muddy_Walker congrats on the new job, sounds a big improvement !
I forgot I had gardening on my list, did much of the front beds (quite small) last week and abit more today planting some bulbs, someone walking past said what a lovely garden. I did check for sarcasm but think she was genuine and does look much better and I assume one of many local people with no garden!
DD2 gave me a box of stuff last week (emptying her flat ready for move) and finally brought in from car, some things for CS and her uniform away til next placement. Two items sold, one a bookcase may not get picked up for a couple of weeks but may ask them if can come earlier. Did use up nearly ood the other day so rounding nos to 535.18 -
Mrs SD Thank you for my medal, gold star and flowers
My elderly neighbour, who's known me since I was a baby, shouted out to me the other day asking if I wanted some "books" - what she calls magazines. Now having just got my mag pile from 50 to zero what could I say?
Well I love a magazine and I love a free anything even more so I gladly took 11 mags from her. I read 3 on the trains on my mini break and am going to take some others on my next trip away in June. I have adjusted my total.
I ate 2 x telephone frogs and threw away another hot water bottle (7 years old).
uud candles x 4
uud box of matches
uud hand sanitiser
uud another pen
uud nail polish

Hi all, lost my post again so highlights are: made 6 portions of carrot and lentil soup, 8 portions of veg stew, all in the freezer. Several phone calls to friends but chickened out of calling the stamp friend and sent her a text about it
. She was most apologetic and said she will check it out. Small trip to the sm, all put away. 3 loads of washing done and line dried, folded and put away. Small amount of weeding done in the garden and coffee over the fence with ln as it was actually quite warm today
Lr bin emptied
@Mrs SD you are quite right if OH had wiped out the microwave no words would have been had
@Muddy_Walker great news about the job, life is always better if your boss is human
@Florenceem, hugs, so glad you are getting lifts to the hospital, take care of yourself
Hugs to everyone who would like one
604-606 3loads of washing sorted

regnbue - they say not to use a waterbottle that is over 2 years old in case of leaking to cause burns.
I have been putting things on my local freecycle site as well as taking stuff to the charity shop. I have the next lot packed ready for tomorrow.
I am off to Church this morning and a friend is taking me to the hospital this afternoon.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
