Evening All
No more paperwork decluttering until I decide how to approach what's left.
Decluttered a cat food storage tub, broken keyring, broken purse, a watch box and a framed print (for the charity shop bag).
Also 5 lanyards to take to work for staff who need them, mine broke today and I didn't have a spare.
5 batteries to be recycled, that's it for tonight.
Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can
Arthur Ashe14 -
611-618: bits to bin bag
619-622: stuff returned to owner
623-625: packaging to recycling
626-628: binbag and recycling taken to wheely bins
629: 1GB data deleted
630: drat, broke a glass.
Deferred Decisions:
62: shelf in kitchen wall cupboard finally adjusted so it's reachable.
More things sorted like with like: I know there's kind of a rule not to touch things twice but I'd rather get it all corralled.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Lovely quilt Vulpix. :-)The soles of my sandals disintegrated in a similar manner at work this summer. I am on the look out for some new ones. Unfortunately I have wide feet and they disintegrated so late in the year I couldn't find any suitable replacements.Out -5 items of clothing for washing and then will go for ragging. OH beat me to the washing machine tonight so I didn't get them in. Will go in first thing tomorrow.2 cardboard boxes - no idea why those were being kept.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 3.5/66.5 coupons remaining1 cardigan - 5 coupons13 prs ankle socks - 13 coupons5 prs leggings - 10 coupons4 prs dungarees - 24 coupons1 cord jacket - 11 couponstotal 63 coupons14

The quilts are beautiful.... great admiration for the skills of so many here. Have been reading along but RL abit much and overwhelming at times. Did drop off my empty jars and phone cables yesterday and someone picked up the plastic protective mat ..... Today focused on frogs, meter readings taken and reported, have to have crawl in understairs cupboard but easier as I realise I can use my phone to record so don't have to empty it to get in further
Ordered replacement headphones, and got postage for DB to send off electronics, issue of taking 2 lots of money via Fleabay and 30 mins on phone to no avail but hoping I sorted separately. Long owing email to friend and photo of vintage item hoping she can help identify. Drawing pins away and small amount of tidying. Hoping to drop off to CS in the next couple of days and add to the bag if I can. Read along earlier today , remember tlc carriage there and can accommodate everyone.
Ordered a memory card reader and found photos from 2014 of the kids which I've never really seen and intend getting prints of some as they tend to focus on negative stuff and there's some very happy memories there.14 -
Finally got through to a real person at the college and registered my roommate and me for our classes for next semester - have been trying for two weeks. Had to have a pin sent by e-mail and it never came through (over 8 attempts). Sometimes technology is just so maddening. Our one class is on how to use mobile technology - it may drive me over the brink. I may have to spend extra time in the TLC carriage.16

Huge hugs @bit_by_bit, it must be emotionally exhausting.
Reporting in with 🐸 4: ordered some prints for dcs bedrooms (creating a gallery wall in each) only being humming and aahhiing about what ones to choose for about a month or longer 🙄. All done now, just need to choose what photos to get printed for their gallery walls now, cannot take a month for that surely... 🤣2024 decluttering Campaign

Frog didn't get done as I spent the day pottering and doing jigsaw. (Fantasy book shop 1000 pieces) Up to deal with frog before I do anything else except drink my tea. Internet is driving me crackers and waiting for contact back re house phone which is dead. DD has booked the trip away at the end of June so something to look forward to. Tummy is gradually settling down. I seem to have lost 2lbs off my target probably due to my enforced fast last week but I'm recording it as it's nice to see weight going down but a long way to go. Hoping I get my money back from insurance company today for electricity. Quilt is lovely. I used to sew and knit a lot but rarely do so now. Amazing sky outside this morning - looks like lots of plane trails which have been turned pink by sunrise. I need to work out how to post pictures.
210 DS2 reported that he had thrown away an old work backpack as it was manky. Went in my bin so I will count it.
Right frogs here I come.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Butting in on the quilt topic..my lovely neighbour makes and sells exquisite quilts for charity. She was supporting LATCH ( a children's cancer charity when her granddaughter aged 8 was diagnosed - thankfully recovered) and now has started to support Macmillan and Marie Curie after her sister's recent passing and the massive support she had from both of those organisations.
I am in awe of her skills and determination 'to give something back'.
decluttered loads more paperwork, old MOT's etc
A pillow past its best! binned
emails!!! where do they come from! deleted
