I can't sew, I have tried, the results were far from stunning though 😂.
Had a little mini declutter again, was meant to do it when I got back from work this afternoon...but something happened, and then something else happened 🤣🤪🙂. It involved a hot drink and a seat, just in case you're wondering 🤫😉.
Today's decluttered are:47. Toy giraffe
48. Skinny black tie
49. 3 way plug
50. Old sparring head gear
51-53. Random plastic bags???
Hope you've all had a good day today.

vulpix - love the quilt - great work.
Re shoes falling to bits - I put on a pair of sandals and walked to a meeting - when I got there - with a slip over on the way - found practically no sole left on one sandal - hence why I fell over. While I was in the meeting - I left a trail of bits on the floor. On my walk home - I picked up bits of shoe.
J got home from the A & E at 4.30 am after having a CT scan as he takes blood thinners - he feels sore today.
I have had a really lazy day - not even got dressed!

I have had a laugh at the shoe stories. Thought you might like to hear mine. I once had very similar shoes for work. One navy pair and one black. One day it got to 11.o.clock and i realised that i had one of each pair on! I had to complete 2 more assessment visits before i could do anything about it.
However that is not quite as bad as my friends husband. He collected his work shoes from the menders and then recieved a phone call 3 days later. His shoes were identical to someone elses and he had been given the wrong ones by mistake. It turns out that he had been wearing shoes 2 sizes too big and hadnt even noticed!
Not much decluttering done today. 2 fascinators put into bag for cs and I have bought more stuff up from the craft shed to go through. It is too cold to do it down there!, Now have nearly 2 bags to take for craft sale but wont count until they are out of the house.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £17.98 spent, 102 made and 5 mended,

I have serious quilt envy 😍.
Have just caught up, and mindful of someone’s earlier comment about there being so many more posts by the time they had typed in their’s, I am typing in as fast as I am capable!
After a bit of a decluttering slump at the end of last week, yesterday seemed to give me a kick start again. It may have been the sunshine, as I made it outside to fill up the garden waste bin, and managed to declutter:
1 pair of gardening gloves - they were a present but try as I might, they were must way too small. I have tried to give them to friends who have much smaller hands and they struggled too. Out the gloves have gone.
2 rather worse for wear bird feeders
DH produced some knitting needles from the shed - just don’t ask!! 3 pairs matched up and now in the cs bag. 4 odd ones out.
2 old magazines into recycling.
1 more art book into the cs bag. That shelf is proving ripe for little and often.
2 birthday cards made from the stash.
Gentle hugs for all those who have had to spend time in a&e recently with loved ones. I have made a ginger cake to donate to the tlc carriage, using a recipe torn from one of the discarded magazines!16 -
wow @vulpix beautiful quilt
Certainly on a roll now - 23 minutes decluttering 2 kitchen drawers. and remembered to take in the surplus whiteboard markers to work and put them in the student room. and yesterday mum and i dropped 2 bags at the CS small electricals at the recycle and 4 small batteries dropped off too. looking forward to tomorrow's 23 minutes already!!!MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Another quiet day as another poorly child came home from college and I had both girls at home already.
I cleared through all the hall, stairs and landing before the shopping came. As well as the list there was also a huge dog bed that old dog managed to wee all over, it's currently bin bagged outside as don't want to fill bin and have lots of rubbish to go in so not counting it until I know its gone.

Evening all, great to see loads of decluttering going on. You are all doing amazingly.
That quilt is amazing @vulpix - I couldn't create that in a million years 😍.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I thought it was a bit naughty not to tell dh about the 100 boxes but for the best I think! I am not decluttering any of his stuff without permission so it is just the generic everyone owns (kitchen stuff etc) kids stuff and my own. What he doesn't realise (ahem...because he hasn't been told...🤫🤭🤣) is that as the stuff is placed back into the newly painted, new to each person bedroom it will be thoroughly decluttered as a joint effort. So all being well by the end of February all 3 bedrooms will be decorated and decluttered.
The decorating is going well in dds room. 1 coat of dusted fondant has been applied to the three walls this evening (4th will have the feature paper). The dds love it (phew, we didn't tester pot that one due to choosing in the shop as lavender quartz wasn't available). There is still talk of lime crush, dd isn't letting go of that colour anytime soon! Need to order some pictures for dds gallery type wall (get the frames too). Dds need a wardrobe as they only have 3 drawers each and their clothes are getting bigger so need more space but dh doesn't think he wants his one anymore so the dds may be getting that one and we might go shopping for a new one ourselves (2nd hand from cs like our current one).
Hope you all have a lovely evening.
Go to sleep soon @Mrs_Salad_Dodger 💤

Thankyou Mrs SD. I don't like the DiL that much but to aid communication and continued contact for us as a family I am sucking it up. DS1 has had 3 children by 3 women. He lost contact with two and I don't want that to happen again as we are also pushed out.
Cleaned most of the downstairs today. Including windows, corners and surfaces. So much easier now there isn't as much clutter.
Had to go to look after GS3 this afternoon as DiL had to take hime home and then the doctors for a nasty eye infection. I took him out for a push and he had a long sleep.
I wombled a too good to leave cabinet with shelves left out for the elves. I asked the owner if I could just put it out of sight in her garden to collect it later and she was really happy that it was going. It has a potential place in the camper van redo due to start in March/April. If not I will pass it on or sell it. I love wombling.
A load of bags in the car for the CS and the charity shelf at the garden centre. I did give a bag of books to DS2 who who has discovered reading and enjoys teen spy dramas. Nothing too long buthe can tell me the story when he talks about the current book he is reading.
Have a great evening all. Big hugs for all who need them.
OH. Got to bed @Mrs_Salad_Dodger
