It's basically a cul de sac roundabout were there are 3 exits, I went to go straight on to the exit to the second exit, and my car swirved and my left wheel smashed the side curb on the left, leaving my left passenger side wheel axle to sort of come out, my car swirved on the ice, cars have and plenty of space to go past me, well enough space.

On the left of the roundabout their is a fire station and a curb. That's were I was stationary. I'm not blocking anything.

I had my hazard lights on which the police said on done the correct protocol.

THIS is where I was on the roundabout, before the arrow outside that block figure:

REAL photo of my position, however this was after I got hit

What option should I pick on what happened? Image in the link

If I click on a roundabout collision, what option shall I click after this: https://ibb.co/xH37CS0

OR:

2) Is this the right option: https://ibb.co/jVdJGsS

3) OR this: https://ibb.co/qYx0sHr

Out of the three, which one?

The police were involved, I've got a log number and they know I'm not at fault. Thru told me not to accept liability.

A fire station is just there and they seen the cars collide into mine despite having space around the roundabout and my hazards on.

A car that collided said it's my fault and I should take liability, I don't wish to speak on the phone to him.

-------

1) From the options it seemed like the most appropriate choice was "collision with parked/stationary vehicle'." They told me to phone with ref number

2) I haven't done one for my own fault of losing control and having the left wheel smash into the curb.

3) ALSO the storage place needs my claim number, I'm fully comp so they said they can claim off my insurance

It's down to these three

    Hi OP

Were you parked up on the roundabout?

What is a "Service like house" please?

    Thanks

So you've lost control of your vehicle and immobilised it so left the vehicle on the roundabout during which time a number of other vehicles have hit your car?

Dont overthink the questions too much, it's just to steer the claim to the correct team that'll be split between fault/non-fault. I'd be tempted to use multiple pile up as clearly it's going to take a lot of unpicking and you'll be liable for the initial damage you did to your own vehicle.

I was stationary there and well after that six cars collided due to the slippery roundabout.

From the options which one should I pick? I have sent them a message.

Thank you but silly me, I can't work out where your car was, sorry,
I'm sure some expert will help you in the right direct.
Good luck and I hope it's all sorted soon
    Take care.

I'd go for the multi-vehicle pile up on the first screen but if you dont want to do that then choose the third option on the roundabout submenu. Seems the most certain one to go into the complex liability team

Sorry, I'm not fully clear on your description on where your car was or what your question is? Is it about being unsure on how to answer your insurers form - perhaps something to give them a call about.

I don't know if it's accidental or not, but you keep linking the same picture of a roundabout (but seem to suggest that your car is indicated on it)?

I've tried to do a picture of what I think you are describing - is the below close to the mark?

And then 6 cars have collided with yours on the way round the roundabout?

It will be a challenge for your insurer to argue that six seperate vehicles were all at fault for hitting your vehicle - but I'm guessing the spot where you originally swerved was particularly icy so makes it easier somewhat.

    Know what you don't

Im at the other arrow literally on other side just after middle, before on the arrow parked stationary on the grey line.

I'll edit my post with a real photo.

Yes the other cars were looking to exit and unfortunately lost control and swirve into my car.
  • You skidded due to ice which meant you didn't follow the line you were expecting to.
You think there was space for other vehicles to get past, maybe there would have been without the ice.
Lots of people lose control on icy surfaces - I've done so myself several times.
