I complained about my last stay as they would not let me have a room until 15.00 (it did state it on their site, so was fair enough) However, I was there at 14.00, I explained to them that I wouldn't be returning until after 23.00 (they wouldn't even let me leave my luggage,) upon returning they then spent 10-15 mins finding me a room.

Anyway, I made a complaint to their head office and was sent a cheque.
I've always been early, never been a problem. Although my last stay, I walked in to find the cleaning lady on my bed watching TV

If these £5 rooms are to be booked at least 180 days ahead (as was mentioned somewhere),that takes us up to the peak summer months,June,July,Aug,Sept.,so I can`t see any £5 rooms ¬til about next October.
Amendments to £5 "Sale" rates must be made at least 180 days in advance of the scheduled date of arrival.
Does *not* say must be booked 180 days in advance, simply that any amendments must be made before 180 days. This may be simply to prevent people being able to amend or cancel the booking details.

Hey, that could be very fun. Pretend to be a blind man and say "hello darling, I know what you want" and proceed towards the bed :j :rotfl:

I don't begrudge them watching TV though, probably one of the few perks of their minimum wage job.

    From my email:
We'll be taking bookings for our £9 Saver rooms from Friday afternoon. To enjoy our lowest ever room rate, you'll need book at least six months in advance. We have a limited number of Saver rooms, so book today to avoid missing out in June, July and August. Then you'll really have something to look forward to this summer.
