Oh and I've just figured something out from the aerial photo, I'm pretty sure that car park used to be the old Leeds bus station. Could be entirely wrong and off the mark though.

Yep, it was the old "Red Bus" station!:rotfl: The "Green Bus" station is opposite the Yorkshire Playhouse. The Red Bus station closed years ago, it was for out of city buses really, like Harrogate, Otley, Wetherby etc and they were mainly single decker Red buses, whereas the majority of local Leeds busses were Green and ran from the big Green Bus station at the back of the markets.

Brilliant - had nearly forgotten about this offer :D

Just got three one-night breaks booked - two at Norwich Central at either end of the school break (seaside here we come, for the first time in 3 years), and one in between at Leeds Colton (nearest to York - three train mad little boys and a great big free museum makes for very good and cheap break).

All-in cost of £87 (inc breakfast at Norwich) - that's less than one night would cost us at full price (three kids and a disability mean we have to have two rooms), and paid for with Christmas money, so it's not even affecting the budget.

Thanks again to the OP for posting this :D

    Thanks eartthmother and OP.

I have booked a room at Norwich Central. I had forgot about the beach.

The rooms at £9 are great. I have had to stop myself booking a room at a place that I have never heard off though a few times.

Finished, but there are still quite a few £19/£29 rooms available which in itself is still a pretty good bargain.

ETA: OK, scrap what I just said! The promotion isn't on the front page anymore but I've just uncovered some £9 rooms still available but they are few and far between. Leeds/Bradford airport have a few dates in June, and a couple of central Leeds rooms on 15th/22nd/29th June and 6th/13th July. Probably more if you search too ;)
