Cheers Dragon, yea we will do that when we sit down and work everything out to make sure it is all viable!

Got my xmas bonus and have some money put aside so should hopefully get the abbey card down to £250 after xmas so should be cleared by mid january! :j Then it is just the tv (which has been explained about before) and then the loan. TV I should have abotu £200-£300 put away by the end of January then might try and get the rest of it paid off asap.

Then it will be savings all the way! :j

Happy new year :hello: Well 2008 is out the way and all i can say is good redience! For me personally i think it could quite possibly be the worse year i have ever had, on a personal side. On a money side i did quite well but have comitted the dfw sin of them all and done the C word but it suits my situation and I am in control.

I hope everyone enjoyed the festive season?!

Well as this is MSE i'll start with the money side!

My credit card didnt get touched again over xmas! Thats two years of no presents going on :j

I only need to save another £150 then will have enough to clear my Abbey card for good! The money that went into my account wasnt my xmas bonus, it was my wages for so they went in before xmas first year since i started working here i havent had one.

Once the £150 is saved (hopefully next friday) its down to saving for a house! :j Gf is dead against renting and i dont think im gonna be able to talk her round so will just need to start saving.

Also gonna need to pay for a service and check over of the new car (which im still loving!:cool: ) need to find out how much this is gonna be. Probably about £250 at a guess.

So targets for this year are:

1) Save as much as possible towards house (£7.5k hopefully :eek: )
2) Get more organised (work and home)
3) Stress less and dont let things get to me so much :rolleyes:
4) Start enjoing things again
5) Try and do something about my bloody wrist :mad:

As for last years targets
My £2 tube i think the final total for the year was in excess of £300
My £8k in a year challenge i fell just short on because of the new car/loan but i would have made it.

Hey all,

Well the Abbey Card is cleared! :j

So my only debt is now my loan (apart from the tv as explained)

So now gonna go and update my signature and im gonna start a new diary for my savings for a deposit for a house!

Thanks for everyone that has stayed with me on this diary and offered support and advice and i hope you'll come across to the new one!

I'll post a link once i've created it!
