Morning eamd,

sorry to hear about the car, I know how you feel, I had to replace a wheel bearing & drive shaft on mine recently - £230 by the time they'd finished :eek: .

Since then it got reversed into & repaired but pretty worthless now & mot due in 4 weeks so now looking around for a new one.

Well done with all that you've paid off so far, doesnt it feel great when you can cross out bills to be paid, I love it

Well its Friday, thankfully.

Test drove 2 cars yesterday, liked them both but typically preffered the more expensive one :rolleyes: Girlfriend isnt to impressed at how much i would be adding to my debt but said at the end of the day it is upto me, girl talk for if you do it you'll be in trouble!

Not sure what to do as cant decide. One of the new ones would add £3,500 to my debt the other upto £6,500


Its pay day so

2. [STRIKE]Dentists £126 - £126 saved[/STRIKE] - Done PAID
3. [STRIKE]Car repair 1 - £200 - £200 saved[/STRIKE] - Done PAID
4. [STRIKE]Car insurance - Last year £400[/STRIKE] - £400 saved
5. [STRIKE]Car repair 2 - ???? - £0 - saved[/STRIKE] - they cant find anything at the moment
6. [STRIKE]Scotland Travel Costs Fund (My half ) £250 - £171.91 paid (Barclaycard clear again)- £78.09 saved[/STRIKE] - Done
7. Scotland Spending Money £250 at least - Saved £131.91

Total Target - £1411 + ???? -

Saved so far £610 Paid so far £682.91 - Total £1292.91 - To go £118.09

It is quite frustrating that if i hadnt had to do all of the above i would be down to £3k on my cc's but needs must etc :rolleyes:

Morning all,

Well i need to update my sat nav and get excess insurance this week before i go to scotland thursday morning.

Have made a £50 payment to my abbey card so that is now down to £4200. Not alot else to report at the minute, now off to update my signature and have a :coffee:

@ Katie - Thanks, im getting there but it is a long struggle and i'm no where near as far along as i'd like to be! :rolleyes:

Wont be on her for 10 ten days from thursday morning so try not to miss me too much!:D Really looking forward to getting away. Booked the excess insurance - £22.50 for 10 days compared to the car hire companies £90!:eek:
