Morning all,
Well lee evans was fantastic!
Overall, spent a bit more than i intended this weekend but thoroughly enjoyed it so never mind!
Hi LTM, sorry my post didnt make it very clear, at present i make payments to my credit cards totalling approx £700 a month as well as my loan payment of £245.
If we move in and i carry on as i am then it would be loan payment + £200 payment to my credit cards
or consolidate it and have one payment of £185 instead of £450 (£245 loan + £200 payment to credit card)
Which would leave me more money in case of unexpected bills and if its not used could be saved and pay off the loan early.
At the minute we are waiting until we have the tests and get the results back but as the consultant has mentioned the E word then I cant see it being anything other than 12 months. Personally i think we need to be at least looking into it now but not alot i can do about that.

Hmm :coffee: - yes please! Looking at the figures you could be better off doing the consolidation! Especially if you can do overpayments on the loan (thereby clearing it more quickly), could you not talk to a financial advisor at your bank and go through options with them?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Morning all :hello:
Def wouldnt be gettin more debt, i've learnt my lesson with that one! Feel a bit stuck in limbo at the minute as just waiting for test dates, then gotta wait for test results etc. but not alot that can be done about it
Didnt pay any extra last week as wanted to see what was going to happen (although at the minute not alot  )
So most of this money has gone into seperate accounts to pay for my ever growing list of bills that i have to pay in the coming months. Now yes there should have been moeny put aside for these but with all the repairs my car has had so far this year it has meant my car fund keeps running at £0 because as soon as there is anything in it it is getting used. Going to sit down december and add up the full years bills and se what it actually comes to (although there was £600 worth of painting done which isnt a every year occurance!)
Non of the below will be going on credit card (which it would have done previously) so although my debt wont particularly be going down for a few weeks it will not be getting added to.
Now the list
1. Car tax £180 - £100 saved
2. Dentists £126 - £55 saved
3. Car repair 1 - £200 - £0 saved
4. Car insurance - Last year £400 - £0 saved
5. Car repair 2 - ???? - £0 - saved
Total - £906 + ???? - Saved so far £155
Two steps forward and one step back  (suppose its better than one step forward and two steps back:rolleyes: )Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Dont think i've got anything else to report at the minute apart from my girlfriend is having a test tomorrow so things are moving forward, albeit to slow for my liking.

Morning all,
Well i have been well and truley neglecting my diary this week (although i've still been logging on and looking round.)
Not been in the best of moods recently and cant seem to shake it. Been struggling with alot of things and getting thoroughly fed up. So much so that my mum and dad have taken to asking me if im alright all the time.
Have seriously considered getting out a loan and doing the c word but then i know this will cost me more and take longer to pay off so dont really want to do that but it would mean i could start saving for a house NOW and if i saved £500 a month i would have £7k by the end of next year.
Still waiting on test results for my gf and feel like im stuck in the position of not knowing whats happening. Would rather just be able to get on with stuff one way or the other.
As for debt busting that is still going badly with all the stuff im paying for. Im away this weekend and it will cost me a fair amount but will be a great laugh and something i need to cheer me up but puts everything back a bit more. Will see how much money i've got left after the weekend as to how much i'll be able to save.
Update to my list
1. Car tax £185 - £185 saved - Done PAID
2. Dentists £126 - £126 saved -Done
3. Car repair 1 - £200 - £40.90 saved
4. Car insurance - Last year £400 - £0 saved
