  • Morning all,

Car went in this morning and then hadnt been back long and got a phone call, sounds like its going to be more than i thought   The fault which should have been a sensor im now getting told there are loads of errors.

Doesnt look like i'll be making a payment this week then

Not alot else to report until i hear about the car :o

  • Just got car back and it wasnt as bad as thought. All in it came to just under £200. Although i also got told that my car needs another £200 worth of work done in the non too distant future. Plus a 4 wheel alignment which i need to find out how much is going to cost.

Road Tax is due next month and insurance a couple of months later. Im thinking im going to need to up my car budget at this rate as at the minute im getting hit with alot of bills, none of which i want to put on CC.

Back to current this means i'll make approximately £100 payment tomorrow to my CC, unfortunately that means it will be next week when it goes below £8k but im getting there. Only another £374.33 and then I've paid off 50% :j

Got a few friends coming round for food saturday so going to need a bit extra from my budget for that. Although hopefully not too much.

    Think thats everything for now!

  • Morning all,

In a bad mood today, got in the car this morning and the coolant light came on (something that should have been checked) phoned the garage and they werent very helpful (very unusual for them) bit annoyed as i dont mind paying good money for it to be looked after but if they arent going to look after it i'd be aswell taking it somewhere cheaper.

Now got to check the coolant and go buy a refil from a petrol station at some point.

Made a £75 payment to my CC today so that is at least something positive.

Not alot else to report. Time for a :coffee:

  • Morning all :hello:

Well weekend wasnt too bad, only spent about £35 on meal which could have been worse (that also included some stuff for the house)

Going to wait to make the £40 payment though as
    a) i have a dentist's appointment tomorrow
    b) i am going away and need to buy tickets for event
    c) i am going to a show at the weekend and will need extra money

The dentists i still have to decide if i want normal fillings or the white ones. White ones will cost me in the region of £500 iirc. Normal ones will be £50 approx. Really cant decide which to go for.

The tickets are for an event im going to in a couple of weeks and need to get them in advance (works out cheaper)

The show was a birthday present from my gf last year and im really looking forward to it and have been since i was told! :j

None of the above really help my dfd but not alot i can do about it really and as i havent been away properly this year the weekends away are my "holidays"

Also get this nagging feeling i used my debit card for something else over the weekend but cant think what, will need to raid my wallet for receipts later and see what i find.

Had a really good weekend but feel like i've got loads of things to sort out. Really need to pull my head out my rear end and get myself sorted. Although wont be doing a huge amount tonight as im going to see a friend.

Finally my petrol bill is going to go sky high. My gf has been told she cant drive for the time being which means my car is getting used for eveything. I put £30 in on Thursday late afternoon and i was back to the same as of saturday night. Think im going to need to raise it for the time being to at least £50 a week.

Those that read my diary regularly will know that my gf knows all about my debt and is fantastic. She has offered to transfer what she would spend on petrol a month to my account but i have told her i dont want her to, i'll just make my debt payments a bit lower till she can drive again.

  • Morning all,

Well dentists is going to cost me £126 to start with, not brilliant but

    a) better than expected
    b) i refuse to have silver fillings
    c) although there will be more expense later

Car has started making another noise which im not impressed about knowing i've already got another £200+ to spend without the new problem.

Doesnt feel like i've been making much head room recently, just feels like one thing after another

Got an appointment with hand therapist today to try and help my wrist progress as its still very weak

Not alot else to report. Time for a vodka :coffee:
