Morning all :hello:

Everything has gone through with my BT now and also managed to make the payment to clear barclaycard after all the hassle, still waiting to hear from them but the problem seems to be sorted.

I got a letter through from Abbey saying they were investigating my complaint and they would get back to me but at least i've had acknowledgement now!

When i phoned up abbey and cancelled my direct debit the other day they said that it was too late for the DD run but it looks like they have cancelled it as it hasnt gone out my account and i know i didnt cancel the DD and it has gone from the DD list now but the DD is showing on my Abbey statement. I better not get any hassle from this!

Made an over payment of £100 onto my Abbey card, havent done the full amount this week as may need some extra cash later in the week.

Off to update my signature now! Not alot but only another week and then i'll be sub £9k total debt! :j and another two weeks and I'll be sub £5k on credit cards :j Cant wait to see totals fall below them!

Went to see Hancock thought it was good but did expect a bit more action! Paid on Nectar points for me and my mate.

Yea im really looking forward to getting below it, seem to have been in limbo for a few months with having to add to my debt to pay for jobs on the car.

Hey V - I did enjoy it, there was a good twist which i wasnt expecting but felt they were building to a second and third one.

Not alot to report on the money saving front today, two days away from pay day till i can make my next overpayment.

Barclaycard statement has come through and have been charged £5.57 in interest, might wait and see what they come back with and ask them to wipe it as i wasnt able to make payments so interest would have been less.

Got home last night to a letter from them saying they were looking into my complaint and will have it answered by the 29th July. Wish i could take aslong to pay my bill as they do to sort out a problem :rolleyes:

Morning all,

Well cancelling the DD on the Abbey account has caused problems. When i phoned i asked them to cancel it, they said they would but it was already going through for this month but they would cancel it next.

They obviously put through the request to cancel it before it had gone through so the bank refused it. So they put a £12 charge on my account.

Phoned up and the girl took it off without any problems so should be fine, although thinking now will that show up as a missed payment on my credit file? It shouldnt as my account is upto date payment wise.

Will make my overpayment tomorrow and hopefully clear the £200 to round it off to £5k! :j
