good luck on the credit checking

good news on my car. The garage phoned and the work has been done - they checked it again before doing the work and did find the fault which was the fuel relay so at least i will be paying for the right thing being fixed when i pick it up later.

What Money is that Dragon? A reclaim?

Nope with Dr Dragon now being on SSP and me not being able to work (IB and DLA) I applied for Income Support - not heard about that yet - we heard about the Council Tax Benefit - it is on hold until we can supply Dr Dragon's pay slips for the last two months (um what part of his company will not supply them until he is back at work do they not understand!!), however if I get IS we get it instantly

  • Hi all :hello:

Well I hope they come back with a positive answer for you.

I received a reply for my PPI claim, basically telling me no (longer than that but that is the general idea) they said I ticked the box which i have already told them in my first letter it was them.

They kindly provided me a colour copy of the loan application which clearly shows what i have filled in in black and what they filled in before hand in blue!

Also says that the payment protection insurance box should be initialed presumably by me but it is ticked by them so im hopeful i'l get a better response from my second letter pointing all this out.

Not alot else to report really. Hope everyone is ok?

  • Morning all :hello:

Sorry Mickey, i missed your post about your car, thats great news! Didnt want you to be paying over and over without it being fixed.

Just done my payment to my Abbey card for the week, didnt do the full £170 as im going to the football on monday and taking my Grandad with me (he is down visiting :j ) so want to have some spare money for that. I know its not very MSE but never mind.

Got a party to go to saturday and probably have a quiet one tonight and sunday.

Sent off the second PPI letter yesterday so they should hopefully receive it today.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Off to update my signature now and have a :coffee: who else wants one?!

  • Morning all, :hello:

Havent posted much this week as havent had much to update on.

Not doing so well at the minute, with lots of things coming up. Got dentists on monday and my air conditioning needs regassed as its crap at the minute.

Got some money left over from last week so that is going toward the regass and then i've only paid off £75 off my abbey card today as the rest of that money im keeping until i find out what the dentists is going to cost, havent been for ages and this is my first appointment to register so will need to see what needs done.:o

Next weekend isnt much better as im going away for the weekend which wont end up being cheap so will be lucky if i pay anything off. So in the last two weeks i've paid off £200 instead of £340 and next week it will still probably be £200 instead of £510

Also car is due a service so that will be more money and i've only got £100 in my car fund and i know it will be more than that

Must try harder as need to hammer this debt down. :o

Got another couple of £2 coins this week dont seem to have had many at all recently

Time fore a :coffee: although could do with some Vodka in it after reading that! :rotfl:

  • Hey all, :hello:

Hope you all had a good weekend?

Had a nice weekend, friday spent the night in with my gf. Saturday went round a mates and sunday watched the grand prix and then went out for a family meal. Didnt spend much either so wasnt too bad and within my budget.

Going to see Batman tonight which im looking forward to!

Off to the dreaded dentist this afternoon and have booked car in for air con to be sorted! Much needed!!! That is going to cost me £75 which i have put away already.

Got to get sorted for the weekend as im going away so no money off my cards this week. Although if when i get back on sunday i have any left over then i'll pay some extra off. Got hotel to pay for and no doubt food and drinks!

Got another couple of £2 coins this morning so will need to check and see what im up to now! This lot has already been earmarked for bowling stuff for when i can eventually go back.

    Time for a :coffee:

  • Morning all!

    Batman was fantastic last night!!

Dentist wasnt too bad considering I hadnt been for so long £44.60 and that includes getting a tooth taken out tommorow. Alot better than i thought! So might be able to pay a bit extra come the end of the week. Which would be good.

Got another couple of £2 coins yesterday, you dont get any for ages and then they all come at once! Always the way!
