I am off work today - running a temperature and feeling generally sick and unwell - so you may have to make the tea today:rotfl:

the garage rang earlier - of course they can't find what is wrong with the car despite me having broken down and being towed to the garage . I have also broken down a few times before in the last month and the RAC had to rescue me so there is some def wrong with it. So they are going to do the work most likely to be wrong with the car and charge about £180 for the pleasure. Let's hope they fix the right thing otherwise this could go on forever. I will be picking it up later this afternoon when my son can give me a lift and they have finished the work.

well done for keeping to your budget and not overspending this weekend:T

  • I've just joined Equifax to check my credit report on there (30 day free trial).

Have done Experian before and corrected an error on there so thought i may aswell check the other two and sort any problems early.

What is the other credit reference agency called?

I am not happy about the car situation either but what can I do - if they leave it and not do anything i will keep breaking down again and i have a 20 odd mile journey to work and back every day.I am just hoping what they are fixing will be the right thing. Unfortunately garages have a hold over us people who know nothing about cars and this is the main Peugeot dealer.

  • I would speak to the manager when you pick it up and ask if this isnt the problem that they knock the price of this off any future work as THEY are mis diagnosing the problem.

That is disgusting that the main dealer doesnt know how to fault diagnose.

Experian is the other credit agency EAMD, although had to check myself as sounds like a well known holiday company!
  • Hey evab,

I thought there were 3 credit reference agencies?

I've done Experian before, now doing Equifax and was trying to find the other  or are there only 2?
