Morning all been neglecting you this week. Hope everyone is well?

Things at work are going to get tighter so not going to be able to log on here as much, should be able to make my daily update though!

Car went through its MOT first time! Was really impressed as had a horrible feeling i was going to get a huge bill! Road tax is at the end of the month but got the money saved for that so not too worried.

Now upto £16 on my second lot of £2 coins! so running total is £76 not bad for money you dont miss! Next lot am thinking i might treat myself to some bits for my car.

Havent made any overpayments so far this week but will make a bigger one tomorrow.

Not alot else to report, should hopefully start seeing the Barclaycard tumble now and then onto the biggy (Mint)!

Morning all,

Rather than doing the £200 off my Barclay card, im going to pay £200 off my bike, which means i wont get charged as much interest on it. Then i'll just get the money from parents and gf for my bday and pay it off my debt instead. Means there wont be any movement on the Barclaycard for a couple of weeks but worth it i think.

New budget is coming into effect now, should be fully settled by next week. May have to make a couple of changes but nothing major.

Whats everyone upto this weekend?

Morning all,

Been very naughty over the weekend! Spent £290 on bits for my car (pretty neccesary) so not going to be making an over payment this week and probably wont the next couple of weeks as got some more bits i need so will need to pay for them and fitting.

Not good for the Debt free date but unfortunately needs must. So just going to have to grin and bare it. Once the bits are on then going to need to sort paint out on it so it doesnt get any worse. Which will probably be another couple of hundred.

Why do cars have to cost so much!

Hopefully after that it wont need to much apart from servicing for a while!

crikey hon tats a lot of money but yep cars are like thatwhich is a pain in the proverbial! mine has developed a rattle that i am trying my hardest to ignore!! you should be proud that you are paying for it in cash though and not whacking it on the cards as would've been the old you. You've come a long way, welldone. xx

Hey all, had a bit of a break from the site as i thought i was babling and boring people.

Update, having to spend alot on bits for my car at the minute so debt busting isnt going great but will be back on it shortly.

Update for the month

Barclaycard £1365
Mint £4396
Loan £4,656.14

Total £10,417.14

So have now paid off over £5k in total

Abbey has £300 for my bike but will be getting the money for that shortly.

Car is booked in shortly so will be back to the debt busting but then have a sun £9.50 holiday.

Things not really running to plan at the minute :rolleyes:
