Growing tomatoes

I love growing tomatoes. We only have container gardening so I have some big troughs on legs, compost from our new plant supermarket (3 for £12 and it’s good) plus a few dozen cheap tomato plants. I’ve put gravel in to stop the water evaporating and it inhibits weeds. My tomato plants are growing like weeds as well
Heres some pictures plus 2 of my hanging baskets. The bottom one was bought at our new giant plant supermarket ready planted for £10. My favourite bargain

Mine are growing away, but some have settled in better than others. Most have flowers but no fruit as yetI've already bought some clearance tom seeds from T & M for next year, I can't resist the £3.99 packets for 89PEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens2

Mine are growing well. First lot of flowers are starting to appear & more trusses growing. I dis have a big blackfly problem but now have that under control.I’m finding that the plants grown from seeds are very bushy. I’ve not needed to stake those at all yet. The GD I bought from Aldi on a whin is very gangly & looks a lot less healthy but has 4 trusses now.0

I've got flowers on a couple of Gardeners Delight plants, but nothing on the rest. It's interesting the different shapes they grow - as far as I know I've treated them all the same, but I've got two Moneymaker that are almost like bushes, they've grown very wide rather than tall. Others (from seeds from the same packet) are growing tall.1

Some flowering here too (S Essex), it's all exciting stuff! I think this year has shown me what I am successful at - and not. Herbs just come here to die!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!1

With the popular ones [ rosemary etc] just treat them very very badly, put them in poor soil , water them until they're established and then leave them alone forever.

Does anyone know why a couple of my tomato plants have their leaves pointing upwards like this? I've watered them just the same as the others that look "normal", they do wilt while I'm out for the afternoon so I top them up and the rest come back to normal, but I have a couple like this.
