How was your November?
Options
Two of us (retired) in modern semi detached 3 bedroom.
Gas for November 383 kWh (November 21 was 973 kWh)
Electricity November 178 kWh (November 21 was 215 kWh)
In financial terms, we have paid only an extra £20 or so ( I haven't included the £66 in that, so in fact in real terms bill significantly less than last year)
What we have done - tweaked Nests so that ambient temperature is 18.5 degrees
Use heated throws ( great idea)
House did come with Economy 7 - there never was any storage heating, so no idea why this was. However now use timers etc on washing machine, bread maker and dishwasher to make the most of this. Currently save about £3 per month over standard tariff.
So I am quiet pleased, but conscious that there is not much else that can be done, certainly not with upsetting the memsahib over what constitutes "being cold"..........

Gas for November 813 kWh (2021 was 1151kWh)
Electric for Nov 179kWh (2021 was 282kWh)
Gas reduction (average temps very similar but less sun this year) due to thermal linings on downstairs curtains, cushion shoved up (unused) chimney and stat at a max of 17.5C.
Solar PV/battery installed this year but only 76kWh generated in a dull, dreary Nov so we have cut back anyway. Some savings due to new more efficient fridge freezer, less use of oven, "off at the plug" and just generally being more aware of use.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Solar PV 5.25kWp SW facing (14 x 375) Lux 3.6kw hybrid inverter installed Mar 22 and 9.6kw Pylontech battery
Daikin 8kW ASHP installed Jan 25

Nov Electric 191.9 kwH
Nov Gas 17.14m3 (sorry no sarahs mode on website).
Using online tool I calculated as 181 KwH.
If people are curious my summer to winter change.
Jul Electric 181.3 KwH (although june and august were 190+)
Jul Gas 14.92 m3 / 157 KwH
Attaching graphs, first 3 full months after smart meter put in I didnt optimise any energy use, then I started in july and july also included a weekend away from home. August onwards roughly 5% lower than first 3 full months. No seasonal variance on electric, is some on gas though, same usage pattern but more used I guess due to needing more gas to heat water from lower base temperature.

1 adult. detached 3 bed bungalow.
Gas was 336 khws , electric 160 kwhs .
experiments still ongoing trying different radiator and TRV settings .
Total bill for Nov came to approx £103 . with the £66 deduction I m happy at only £43 .
Proper cold weather coming now in December in S. Yorks when I will be letting the heating rip as my bunglaow uses a lot of gas in the winter months prob over 40 kwhs a day .Plenty of credit in the kitty .This is the first time I have ever bothered about watching the pennies .I was paying 3 p /kwh not that long ago not 10.25 p and have used 12000 kwhs in previous years
Latest experiment was trying advice on here in setting the hall TRV to max 5 with room thermostat stat in same room at 20 c
.All that did is have the hall rad very hot for 3 hrs so turned it down to frost protection.
Lowering heating temp to 50c did nt work as the main room never got anywhere near to the target 18 c temp with the rad TRV set at 3 .

Tried putting the Hive thermostat down a couple of degrees this year to 18 most of the day and 19 in the evening when my perpetually freezing wife is home. I've also been tuning how long I need the hot water on.
Last November I used 1436kWh, this November 801kWh.
I know its been milder this year as well but I'm quite pleased with that!0 -

3 Bed Detached 1930's build
2 adults 2 kids
Electric 293.8kWh
Gas 1928.6kWh
Unfortunately we bought the house and it is not well insulated, 100mm loft insulation no cavity of floor insulation so a lot of investment needed to get the gas figure down
I also have a wife who is permamently cold no matter what2
