You have interviews flying in!  Lid is supposed to be a great place to work and they have a management programme - and 10% off is always v helpful
It's certainly helped boost my confidence a bit that's for sure.
I should hear back about the Lidl one on Monday. like you say the discount would be very helpful but I'm not sure how the 5am starts would fit in with getting son out the door for college each day and also the covering for all the other branches - one is over 40 miles away :( . If I get offered that one then I will certainly have a lot to think about  :o

Well the weather here on the Broads today is shocking. It's blowing a gale and absolutely bucketing it down!!!
I will be staying in as much as possible that's for certain.

My neighbour came round yesterday and invited me out to breakfast on Saturday as a thank you for me making the seed packets for her mum's funeral so that will be nice and something for me to look forward too. It will also fit nicely in with collecting the van in the afternoon so tomorrow is looking like it's going to be a good day :)

I'm still feeling a bit pants today so I'm going to post my list but not beat myself up to get it finished if I feel like I need a rest instead so I could spend the day have little power snoozes instead - I'll see how it goes :)

Fingers crossed the oil delivery comes today (we don't have mains gas connected where we live) as we are getting low and its a bit chilly!

Son has also booked a haircut at 6pm this evening so I will have to take him there later as well. At least it means he can still get the bus home so that saves me trapesing out in this weather at rush hour so something to be grateful for ;)

    So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 12 points so far :)
    2. Make a lucky gnome for an Etsy order and post off - made just need to post it off later today :)
    3. Print 16 sheets of glossy stickers (all different designs) and 5 sheets of logo stickers for an order and post off (I can't wait - I HATE lining up stickers to print!) - all printed - will post off later today :)
    4. Post off orders from yesterday - DONE :)
    5. Transfer money just gone into bank for website order into savings account - DONE £30.64 is now earning interest in our OP savings pot :)
    6. Transfer money into one account for the campervan ready to transfer tomorrow
    7. Raise claim with Royal Mail for order which has gone missing - DONE only for £5.94 but previously I would have just taken the hit and not claimed so it really helps my little business :)
    8. Post in three FB groups to hopefully get more orders
    9. Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders - commented on one so far :)
    10. Read through make £5 a day thread and see if I can get any ideas on new money making opportunities
    11. Take photos of receipes from one cook book from library ready to return it
    12. Action one new thing from my MFW list
    13. Action one thing from my business growth list
    14. Sort out craftsuprint listing
    15. Take a survey on Prime Opinion - DONE 131 points from 5 surveys :)
    16. Carry out searches on Inbox Pounds
    17. List board games we no longer play on FB Marketplace along with necklace found during decluttering
    18. Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji - DONE not a winner :(
    19. No heating on until at least 4pm - DONE turned off (even though oil has just been delivered) as not cold because of oodie snoodie :)
    20. Sort more of craft room
    21. Declutter 5 things from the house
    22. Scan CD's and see how much Webuybooks will offer me - started got £2.12 from 7 CD's so far so will decide if it is worth the price they are offering or if to keep them in my car instead :)
    23. Take a course from one of my memberships
    24. NSD - FAIL a takeaway was calling my name last night :(
That's sound like plenty to keep me occupied for today.

    Morning all.

I've got quite an exciting (well for my standards anyway) day planned today. We collect the camper van at 2pm and before that I am getting taken out for breakfast by my neighbour/friend as a thank you for making the seed packs for her mums funeral. I didn't charge her as it just did not feel right so this is something she wants to do to say thank you so I'm not complaining at all. It will be nice to have a chat to her as we don't often get that chance. Plus FREE food is always welcome isn't it :)

I didn't get the Lidl job but I think I'm ok with that. The 5am starts or the 11.30pm finishes and 8-10 hour shifts just would not fit well into my life when hubby starts working away and might finish me off so although I'm gutted I won't get my 10% discount and will now have to walk around the shop feeling a failure, I'm ok with that (I hope only time will tell).  I think its made better by knowing I have the Burger King job in the bag, although I cannot stop thinking about the other job I was offered there too making candy floss and donuts. It sounds much more exciting so I think I need to sit down and decide which one to say yes too. I'm not good with decisions - especially when it involves food!!!

Right I'm going to get on with my list as have to take son to work before my brekkie and I'm hoping to get a couple of bits crossed off before 8.30am :)

     So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 2 points so far
    2. Transfer money into one account for the campervan ready to pay seller today - DONE it's terrifying seeing £17k going out of your account and other than our houses its the largest ever transaction we have made :(
    3. Make additional 50 double sided plantable cards for lady who did not order enough so placed another order yesterday
    4. Raise claim with Royal Mail for order which went missing in November and I have only just been informed - DONE claim raised for £6.70 :)
    5. Enjoy free breakfast - DONE it was delicious :)
    6. Post in three FB groups to hopefully get more orders
    7. Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders
    8. Read through make £5 a day thread and see if I can get any ideas on new money making opportunities
    9. Take photos of receipes from one cook book from library ready to return it
    10. Action one new thing from my MFW list
    11. Action one thing from my business growth list
    12. Pick up camper van (I'm telling myself this is MSE as it will save us on accommodation in the long run for hubby) - DONE :)
    13. Sort out craftsuprint listing - sent a message to support as cannot find for the life of me why they have quarantined it :(
    14. Take a survey on Prime Opinion
    15. Carry out searches on Inbox Pounds
    16. List board games we no longer play on FB Marketplace along with necklace found during decluttering
    17. Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji
    18. No heating on until at least 4pm - DONE :)
    19. Sort more of craft room
    20. Declutter 5 things from the house
    21. Scan CD's and see how much Webuybooks will offer me
    22. Take a course from one of my memberships
    23. NSD - failed went to Tesco and bought some reduced bread and ribbon :)

Sorry to hear about the Lidl job but 5 am starts would finish me off. Enjoy your breakfast with your friend.

    Morning all,

Well Cathy camper is safely parked up on our driveway. The people we bought it from were so lovely. They made us up a little box which had wine, chocolates, biscuits, oil for the van, a lovely card and they had made us a little wooden sign saying Cathy Camper to hang inside the van too. I was really touched and it made parting with the £16k that little bit easier :)

I also had the National Trust phone me yesterday and offer me the teashop job so that is another one I have to throw into the mix to decide from. There are worse positions to be in I suppose :) Now I just have to sit down and work out which job would be best for me and I would like the most.  I'll have to make a list with the pros and cons for each one I think :) It's certainly done my confidence the world of good getting 3 out of 4 job offers from the ones I interviewed for :) Maybe there is some life in this old dog yet ;)

Other than washing and some tidying up, I have no plans whatsoever for today. I'm full of cold so am planning on taking it nice and easy today although I do have to make sure son does some 3D design as he is behind on his coursework and at risk of getting kicked off his course, That alone will probably tire me out for the whole day!

I'm going to add my list here but I think the chances of getting much done from it are pretty much zero but maybe it might just motivate me to get my bottom into gear - miracles do sometimes happen ;)

    So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 7 points so far
    2. Make additional 50 double sided plantable cards for lady who did not order enough so placed another order yesterday
    3. Washing on quick wash and double spin - two loads done and on airer drying :)
    4. Turn some craft supplies into something I can sell or enjoy - DONE I've made two things ready to list in my Etsy shop all made using existing supplies :)
    5. Post in three FB groups to hopefully get more orders
    6. Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders
    7. Read through make £5 a day thread and see if I can get any ideas on new money making opportunities
    8. Take photos of receipes from one cook book from library ready to return it
    9. Action one new thing from my MFW list
    10. Action one thing from my business growth list
    11. Create a new craftsuprint listing
    12. Take a survey on Prime Opinion
    13. Carry out searches on Inbox Pounds
    14. List board games we no longer play on FB Marketplace along with necklace found during decluttering
    15. Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji - DONE not a winner :(
    16. No heating on until at least 4pm - DONE had to give in and pop it on to help dry the washing (and I was freezing) at 4.50pm :)
    17. Sort more of craft room
    18. Declutter 5 things from the house
    19. Scan CD's and see how much Webuybooks will offer me
    20. Take a course from one of my memberships
    21. NSD - DONE got hubby to pick up the chickens on his way home from work so I will transfer £5 into the OP savings pot :)

Congrats on the camper and another job offer! Does the National Trust job offer come with the pro of an employee discount on membership? Could come in useful now you have a camper to trip off in! 🙂

    Thank you.
Yes I think it does so that is certainly something to take into account - especially as you say we have the camper now :)

    Thank you.
Cathy is lovely - I cannot wait to go away in her even if it is only for a night here and there. I'm quite jealous that hubby is going to get to live in her more than me ;)

I have no clue which job to take. I think in true craftingmad fashion I will have to sit down and make a list of the pros and cons of each and then ultimately I will probably go with what my heart says rather than my head  :D:D:disappointed:

It's a nice position to be in though isn't it and its certainly done my confidence the whole world of good :)

    Morning all.

Well I was right that I would not get much done yesterday. It was mainly spent playing in my craft room but at least I have two new items to list in my Etsy shop to hopefully sell so it was not entirely wasted :)

I've got no plans whatsoever today so I'm hoping that I will be productive and get everything crossed off my long to do list for today :) I doubt it but I'm being optimistic for the rest of this month ;)

    So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 52 points so far and finally earned enough to cash out a £25 voucher :)
    2. Make additional 50 double sided plantable cards for lady who did not order enough so placed another order yesterday - DONE :)
    3. Make nail planner for Etsy order - proofs design and sent to customer and now printed :)
    4. Answer enquiry for stickers - DONE fingers crossed I get the order soon which will be £22.50 :)
    5. Weigh item for sale on FB Marketplace to see if person wants it posting - Done £4.20 postage price given to him so will see if he goes for it - fingers crossed he does as the sale will add another £8 into the savings pot :)
    6. Meal plan for week - DONE most things coming from the freezer so should not need much in shopping :)
    7. Design wedding / christening invites for friend of a friend - frame which will be used for the invites, cards and table numbers designed and approved so will do the finer details tomorrow  :)
    8. List chilli growing kits on Etsy and hope to grab some last minute valentines day orders - DONE :)
    9. Add sons new bank card onto Airtime Rewards app - DONE :)
    10. Post in three FB groups to hopefully get more orders - posted in one so far :)
    11. Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders - commented on 3 so far :)
    12. Write social media posts for February and schedule
    13. Make a pros and cons list of the job offers to hopefully help me decide which one to take
    14. Look for Scan and Shop booklet and scanner
    15. Read through make £5 a day thread and see if I can get any ideas on new money making opportunities
