Good morning from a very wet and miserable Norfolk Broads.
I'm quite pleased with how much I achieved yesterday - I might not have finished everything but I gave it a good go
It's my first paid shift at the chippy tonight so I'm a mixture of nervous and excited! I'm just hoping that I haven't forgotten everything I was taught!!!

Morning all. I feel shattered this morning after my chippy shift yesterday but I enjoyed it (although I think I was not brilliant and was more of a hinderance to them!).
Its a grey day here again today and I seem to be lacking in motivation today but fingers crossed once I get started it will come back to me.

Good morning everyone. For some reason I woke up at 4.30am this morning and could nit get back to sleep no matter how hard I tried so I think today is going to be a long day - especially as I have my 2nd chippy shift and I think its going to be a busy one!

I am really aching today after my shift at the chippy yesterday. I could do with the sink to wash everything up being about a foot taller (I think it must have been made for midgets!). I'm really tired too as it was so busy but next week it will let me add some money to the OP pot so it is well worth it
Hoping son will just have a day of revising as his exams start properly from tomorrow and that way I can just have a little sit down and hardly move all day

I cannot believe it is Monday already! Where did last week go!!!
My son starts his exams this week (he had a couple the week before but now they have stepped up a gear). He is so nervous bless him - I wish I could do them for him (although he would get much better grades than I ever could!).
I feel lots of treats coming in the next few weeks so may not be adding quite as much into the OP savings pot as usual but that's ok as I really do have to find that happy balance between enjoying life and paying of the mortgages I think.

Good luck to your son with his GSCEs Im with you on the treat front, you have to give them a bit extra here and there to keep them going. Its a very stressfull time, DS2 is about to start his Alevel exams and is certainly feeling the pressure.Ive been checking the postcode site, leaving the tab opened has helped me remember!!I have a busy day today, Monday is my clinic day then the rest of the week i have bits and bobs and home visits. Good news - the things I listed on FB Marketplace yesterday have sold and I also got a £15 order for stickers from the same person so I'm a happy bunny
And yesterday was interest day on the savings account so another £180 got added in to use for OP's when it comes to remortgaging so that has made me feel even happier
