Hi crafting I'm really pleased the blood results. It's definitely good it's not ra. But frustrating you don't have an answer
I wonder if it hormones? Perimensopause?
Might be worth looking at supplements they can really help
    Love
    Flowers x

Thanks Flowers. I did wonder if that was what it might be. I have been doing a bit of research regarding supplements and somebody recommended a fruity tea before bed so I'm going to try that tonight :)

Thanks Baileys. I am very happy it is not RA. I have a note in my diary to contact doctors again if no better in three weeks time

    Good morning,

I tried having a cup of fruity tea (I luckily already had one of the recommended ones in the cupboard - not sure how old it was though as I didn't look at the BBD on purpose ;)) and touch wood I slept really well last night and seemed to move a lot easier this morning so fingers crossed the remedy might be as simple as that :)

I have an 8 hour shift at the cafe today so once again not much time for any other actions but it is interest day on one of the accounts so I will be be able to add a bit into the OP savings later which always make me happy and feel like we are getting somewhere :) I do also have to try and complete a bit more training for BK tonight if I am to get it done in time for the deadline they have set.

Other than that I'll just try and do a few more little bits and bobs to help us achieve our dream in the future and also rest as much as I can so I don't push my body to physical extremes :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 27 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE one video watched for 6p :)
    3. Add interest from savings account into spreadsheet - wasn't paid for some reason so going to have to check with bank :(
    4. Transfer money from FB Marketplace clock sale into OP savings account
    5. Complete BK training courses - 3 more courses completed :)
    6. Meal plan for next week
    7. Write and schedule social media posts for my business to help keep my visibility up - posts written and posted for today :)
    8. Make Angels in my Pocket for Etsy order
    9. Cafe shift (9am - 5pm) - DONE was until 6pm so an extra hour for me :)
    10. NSD - DONE :)

    Morning all,

Another day at the cafe for me and to be honest today will pretty much be like yesterday - I'm living the dream ;)

I hadn't received the interest on one of my savings accounts yesterday when I looked after work so I need to check and see if that has finally been credited and if not make a phone call and ask why. I love interest days as they give me a nice sum to add to our balances without having to do anything for it :)  Other than that it will just be work, training courses and working on my little business I think :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE one video watched for 5p :)
    3. Add interest from savings account into spreadsheet - DONE £308.68 added :)
    4. Transfer money from FB Marketplace clock sale into OP savings account - DONE £5 added :)
    5. Complete BK training courses - DONE :)
    6. Meal plan for this week - DONE :)
    7. Schedule social media posts for my business for this week to help keep my visibility up
    8. Give a price for the End of Life planner for repeat customer
    9. Make Angels in my Pocket for Etsy order
    10. Make Plantable Easter gift set for Etsy order
    11. Cafe shift (9am - 5pm) - DONE finished at 6pm again so another hour wages :
    12. NSD

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of posts the last few days.

I'm going to put my heart on my sleeve again and say I've been struggling with my mental health again.
Things have been a bit strained at the cafe for the last week or so with both the owners giving off strange vibes towards me which are making me feel quite unsure of anything. I know I pulled out but actually they now have two new parties interested and they will be £1.5K better off as we had to give a non refundable deposit for them to take it off the market. I'm hoping things settle down next week so I don't have to make another huge decision but I have a horrible feeling they will only get worse. I think they may be trying to drive me out so that the "favourite" staff member has not got to compete against me for a job when a new owner is found. Maybe it is just my anxious perimenopausal brain playing tricks with me but I currently feel that they are on purpose asking the other lady (who works the other 3 days I don't work) her opinion on things and purposely excluding me and running my work down which is really knocking my confidence and making me feel pretty sad.  It has been keeping me awake at night so maybe my time there may be coming to an end soon which is a shame as I love the customers we have come in and I'm pretty certain I'm good at my job as the customers always tell me I make the cafe what it is and am the reason they come in. I don't really know what to do :(

Anyway I have been suckered into doing a shift at the original cafe but at a different location an hour away from home tomorrow so that is making me feel a bit anxious as well now as I won't know anybody and with my confidence also feeling low I'm doubting my abilities and am scared I'm going to be awful :(
On the plus side of that hubby and I went for a drive to find it today and then treated ourselves to a valentines breakfast at a cafe we found on the way home which was lovely and we had a good giggle together which I feel like we haven't done for ages.

I've also managed to complete both my Etsy orders and get those posted off and my son and his girlfriend are cooking dinner for me tonight as they fancied a stir fry so I thought it would be romantic for them to cook it together as they like that sort of thing :)

I'm not even going to pop up a list for today as I think I just need to be kind to myself and not pile any added pressure on so that will be me for the night I think. I might even eat my stir fry, take the doggo out for her evening wee walk and then tuck myself up in bed before 9pm :)

Hope you have all had a day filled with love and I will be back tomorrow more positive again fingers crossed x

Oh crafting, how rubbish of them to make you feel that way, but that is on them and not you! You have proven yourself more than capable and a good employee time and time again and that can be seen in the fact that you keep getting asked back to places, even after you've left! xxx

    Good morning everyone,

After Jessy's kind words I am feeling much more positive today and determined to kick myself up the bum to try and get more done to get the money to pay off these mortgages as quickly as we can. I've been feeling like we have stalled a bit recently so my mission today is to come up with some other ways we can get some extra income to throw towards the mountain and be able to see the view from the top within the next few years :) I have a day off today so time will not be an issue - just the inclination to get started ;)

Yesterday I picked up a shift at a different cafe (part of the original cafe chain) so that will be an additional 5 hours plus mileage allowance coming my way at the end of this month :) I was terrified going to somewhere I didn't know and not knowing anyone there either but it went ok even if I was washing up most of the day. Every penny helps us achieve our dreams so I can suck it up and just add that cash to our pot :)

Today I plan to try and do some housework, work on the business (I must take some more of the courses I pay for or else I am pretty much paying money each month for nothing) and try and design a couple of new things to sell to see if that helps to refresh my shop and bring in some more sales. Plus I want to find a few more ways that could help us achieve our dream by providing us with an extra income stream :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE one video watched for 5p :)
    3. Submit hours for cafe this week in order to be paid - DONE :)
    4. Get two loads of washing done and hung on airers to dry - first load hung up to dry. Second load in washing machine :)DONE :)
    5. Transfer wages into OP savings account - DONE £415.09 added :)
    6. Write and schedule social media posts for my business for next week to help keep my visibility up - DONE :)
    7. Give a price for the End of Life planner for repeat customer - DONE fingers crossed it translates into a £15 order :)
    8. Chase and see if lady wants to buy sticker sheet - DONE sent her a message so we shall see if she replies :)
    9. Post in a FB group to promote my business
    10. Complete two courses from my subscriptions
    11. Check free postcode lottery - DONE not a winner :(
    12. Complete a prime opinion survey
    13. Design a physical item to sell in my shop
    14. Design two cardmaking sheets - one completed :)
    15. Design a digital download product
    16. Brainstorm new ideas to make some extra cash
    17. Empty foam bath into soap dispenser (it has exactly the same ingredients as liquid soap but is half the price) - DONE :)
    18. Meal plan for next week
    19. Enjoy a walk with hubby and doggo - DONE and we ended up at our favourite bakers for a little treat so that was lovely :)

    Completely agree !

Also think it’s good for you to have days off your long lists  - I find them scary and pressured and they not my lists - could you try instead only writing 5 things and only adding things more when you can comfortably achieve them on that day
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Firstly you are their employee so if it is genuinely bullying things they are saying with no reason, you can immediately they say anything something like please don't speak to me that way without a proper example of .....whatever they are saying.  Or no thats not true. Or ask outright has my work standard slipped? Tell me how you want it done now.  Or whatever else is appropriate.   You are an adult working with other adults so its in everyone's interests to be at least be surface polite.

If its just you imagining things take some time today to think it through logically.  If you and the other lady never work same days how do you get ths idea? You cant know for certain how she is being treated, what she is being asked about, what she is coming up with to help save her own job?  Also, why do you have the idea a new buyer will only want one of you since you don't know who or even when they'll get a new buyer?  Are you just taking a silence and running with it in your own mind and meanwhile the owners are just getting on with running the business as they always did?

Its so easy to imagine all sorts but you don't know what anyone else is thinking unless they come out and tell you.  If you had wanted to be owner and the one in charge you would have carried on buying the place.  It suits you to remain as an employee so you get no employer type hassle in your life.  Try to keep that in mind - you just need to turn up at your shift times, do your work and go home.

Just a few thoughts, based on my reading of your earlier post you will know if any of it is appropriate to how you are thinking/feeling.  You started last year (I think? ) believing you would never get a paid job yet you got and have held onto several jobs so you know you can do the work so dont start doubting that, thats definitely just in your own head  :)

    Enjoy your day off

    Daisy xx

My lists scare me sometimes too but my problem is I always have a million and one things I want to do that it seems I just cannot narrow them down to just 5 a day :(
