Morning all
Hope you are staying safe and warm whilst this storm is battering the UK. Luckily we don't seem to be taking the brunt of it here on the Broads although the windspeed is still 50 mph and its raining pretty hard so I will only be going outside when I need to today. Thinking of anyone who is badly affected by it x
No real plans for today apart from popping to BK to show my birth certificate and NI Number proof. I'm keeping my options open as not sure what will happen if the cafe sells so thought I may as well still have the BK option to fall back on if needed. Work doesn't start until March there so if the cafe sells it should fit in nicely with thatI also need to go to the post office to get a form for a driving license as I seem to have misplaced mine and post off a couple of orders. Other than walking the dog that will be me done outside for today and I'll spend the rest of the day while hubby is at work working on my business and hopefully doing what I love most - making things to sell
I did manage to transfer a bit more into the savings account yesterday from facebook and website sales (I only transfer money into savings once the order has been despatched just in case) so I'm £82.55 closer to our mortgage free dreamI feel like we are not making much progress at the moment but every penny must help so I'm sure we are getting there even though it doesn't currently feel like it.
The good news is that hubby mended his car himself though so we won't have an expensive garage bill coming our way

I'm sorry to hear your joints are painful, hopefully, today's doctor's appointment will answer some questions or refer you to the correct department and give you the necessary pain relief 🤗Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

The doctor is pretty certain that it is RA sadly. He wanted me to have blood tests tonight but the earliest they can fit me in is Monday so he has prescribed me an anti inflammatory which will hopefully help me. Fingers crossed as it seems to be getting worseMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Evening all,
I was in a bit of a rush this morning as I struggled to get up thanks to my aching joints so haven't had a chance to post until now. I have been to the doctors tonight and he does think it is RA but can only confirm once he has the result of blood tests. Unfortunately the nurse cannot fit me in for those until Monday 6th so in the meantime he says we will treat it as if it is and has prescribed me some anti inflammatory tablets so fingers crossed they help. I will pick them up tomorrow as they did not have them in stock sadly
Other than completing my cafe shift I don't think I will realistically get much else done tonight but that will be enough for me so I'm not going to beat myself up
Hope you are safe and warm after the battering of this new storm xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 -

Morning all,
Its freezing here on the Broads today so I'm glad I will be in a nice warm cafe for the day
I'm not planning on getting much else done today if I'm honest but hubby is on an overtime day so between us we are still doing something to help the mortgage amounts decrease
I'm really stiff again this morning so the quicker the tablets work will be great with me

Morning all,
Its flipping freezing this morning and I nearly slipped over on some black ice when I was walking our doggo but luckily I managed to just about stay on my feet. I don't think my poor body could take a fall at the moment as it is still really stiff and achyI just want to get the blood test out of the way now and get the results so I know if it is RA or just me body telling me I'm getting old!!!
The bad news is our sons car went wrong on Monday (brake problems) but the good news is we managed to get our neighbour to take a look who has mended it for £75 so it could have been much worse and it really helps having him back on the road again as it is much less running around for me
A day off for me today and I've got a lot of phone calls to make including one to the dentist as it looks like they finally have space to see our son again for a check up under the NHS so that is great news. Other than that I plan to have a day working on my business (and more specifically taking some courses so I can cancel some subscriptions) and getting some housework done. Oh my life is so rock and roll

Sorry to hear re the RA. My mum has found taking boswellia and turmeric very helpful - I am also buying her an acupuncture session to help as it always helps my kneesDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
