Evening turtlesDidn't post yesterday, went to see my share pony in the morning, it started to rain while we were out but didn't get too wet luckily. Came home and lay in a hot bath for ages.OH and I went up to London to the horse show they do every Christmas, he's not a horsey person but I dragged him along with me regardless! We bought dinner out, and I also bought a new riding hat as it was time to replace the old one. Money came from savings and was a planned spend. We did find free parking on the road which helped save some money, the venue wanted £20 for parking!Today has been a NSD, been in the office all day, it was nice to speak to a few colleagues as my role keeps me away from the office a lot. Finances are tight this month, I don't know quite what's happened as I haven't been out much but I've overspent. I have one more festive outing to pay for and things are looking tight but we'll get there!9

Still clinging on!
NSD yesterday think that’s now 8/15?? Put house back together after ds friends slept over. Watched the footy - really enjoyed the game.
Went to bed early but woke up after few hours and decided to get up and put presents out ready for this morning.
He woke us up at 5:30am. So he opened his gifts, had a doughnut for breakfast, spoke to his Australian relatives then went back to bed for half an hour. Felt so mean waking him up to go to school! Took him out to tea so was not an nsd today!Struggling a bit with work. Something isn’t sitting right with me and I can’t figure it out. I’ll revisit those feelings in the new year.Tomorrows a new day. I will be able to concentrate better on work tomorrow I just wasn’t present today so I might feel better about things.Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Hugs to @beanielou. Happy birthday @BadBookkeeper Jnr!
Ended up staying up far too late last night, catching up on posts here. Was pleased to catch up, but tired today. Thankfully work was a breeze, so I didn't have to use my brain too much 🤣
Unpicked a zip when I got home. After tea we put a Christmas film on & I sewed the new zip in place. 1 down, 3 to go...
Grateful for a colourful sunrise, an easy working day, a special friend Xmas card, that my missing photos (ordered at the end of November) have been reprinted & sent special deliveryUse it up, wear it out

Morning turtles!! Hope you managed to get some rest @beanielou.Yesterday was a good day. My circuits class at lunch perked me up after the weekend’s activities, we competed against each other in a mini xmas Olympics which was a good laugh, and then afterwards I managed to eat a nasty work frog.Aerial hoop class after work was also good. I have strength but lack coordination and flexibility… but now I am finally starting to feel like I’m getting somewhere. I am starting to gel with the usual suspects who are there most weeks. Also I got an NSD!
grateful for discovering a new (old) Xmas film which I enjoyed (jingle all the way) for helpful and friendly people at my hoop class, for feeling motivated.
I am aiming for a nice run of a few NSDs before I leave for England on Thursday.

Morning! (well, just about still morning), I am spending nearly every single day, but yesterday it was £2 on 8 S&M Free From Cherry Bakewell Biscuits, and they were worth every penny as they stopped me going out and buying (worse) rubbish food on my break that would have cost a good deal more than £2, they are also waiting for me in my locker at work for breaktime today. An odd kind of 'spending to save' but it works for me. All spends are tiny though.Household nonsense done, fridge management achieved, laundry folded, not feeling Christmassy much yet, but feel like I might get there soon. Work is not making me happy, but the money will. It is supposed to calm down a lot this week (according to the regular workers) - but no sign of it yet though!!Ho Ho Ho to those feeling it already, Jingle all the way! to those not yet feeling it. Just keep on swimming....4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Good afternoon ⛅
Brighter day yesterday and got the train into town to meet a good friend and went for lunch which I'd promised ages ago. Had a lovely catch up and was very grateful for the company and support. Still on track with spending and have managed to get to the gym too for a light session. Am having a look through the cupboards next to see what I can batch cook for the next few days.

Hello, sorry I have been awol. The colds have come back with a bite and left me exhausted. Also have anaemia due to extended visit from aunt flo that has required medication and I feel fit to drop to be honest! So glad I managed to get ahead because I went to sainsbobs to pick up a few bits yesterday and it wiped me out for the entire day, I was in bed by 8.00. I have been reading along and with you in spirit!
Grateful for: DC (even though 2 girls spend most of their time arguing), being organised, my food delivery that is due tomorrow, school holidays starting tomorrow, ibuprofen and lots of it.2024 decluttering Campaign

Had a strange day and bought lunch, doughnuts, and wine. It was my last commute of the year. Got straight into bed when i came home. My flat is lovely; clean and tidy.
Grateful for squirreling away the commute money I didn't spend because of the strikes, love tea, and my bathroom sink is fixed.
