Don't be too hard on yourself. It's likely the weight is a result of being on a downward trend for so long. Once you know where you are with emotions and medications etc things like weight loss will start happening organically.
I'm with you on hating doctor things. Usually takes me 3 days just to make an appointment.4 -
Thanks Beanie, Lucielle, Jwil and WD
I've booked tomorrow off now. Hopefully I can catch up on my sleep and feel a bit better. Not sure why I'm feeling so exhausted. I do find all the medical stuff stressful though. I've also booked a half day for when I go to the hairdressers on a week day in a couple of weeks time. I worked long hours today having struggled the rest of the week - so I now just owe a couple of hours from last Friday.
I was hoping to see a friend this weekend - but they've now said they're not available and it will be another week on. Frustrating. I need to do something nice for me regardless. I still need to go to the optician too and pick up my new glasses.
I went to L1d1 earlier and bnm and overspent. I'm now the proud owner of a new rhododendron and a mini azalea both with red flowers. I also bought a pink clematis. Looks like I'll be buying the home insurance out of my next pay instead of the current one! I also bought a mini fleece tunnel. I want to finish setting up another couple of raised beds this weekend and get soil in them. That way they'll be ready when my seedlings are.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Lucielle. Lavender is so pretty when it's in flower.
I am making myself go for an outdoor swim today - wish me luck! Will be interesting to see what I can do as it's so long since I've been. My gym membership restarts in about a week so then I plan to make myself go swimming more regularly again and hopefully restart BB. I cancelled my online subscription as it didn't work for me. DD is carving out her own life more and perhaps needs me less so I need to give my week more structure and create more opportunity to meet people and perhaps make friends.
After swimming, I plan to go to the Optician and pick up my new glasses.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Enjoy your swim. I’m dreading trying to make new friends when we move. I do now a few people but they’re more acquaintances.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Maybe try the Womens' Institute @lucielle. They're not all Jam and Jerusalem (although I like that part 😁). I've upped sticks to new climes twice now and I've found them invaluable for making new friends and building a social life. Everyone is different so maybe visit a few in your new locale before committing.
