Sounds like you are making good progress on the food shopping if it is just you living there makes sense to streamline things and get rid of that freezer. We used to struggle to actually get out to the shops plus had lots of storage so just got into the habit of overstocking things. It really isn't that often you cannot get something and I prefer it when it is easier to find things. Sounds like you just have to bite the bullet and get listing. A pain but you will feel so much better once they are gone and you have the cash in your hand.Save £12k in 25 No 49

On tenterhooks now for the water refund - I could do with it arriving by Friday really as otherwise I'll need to do a bit of a money shuffle to pay a direct debit due on the 11th.
I lie in bed at night and kind of say - I'll be moving soon - but it still isn't really sinking in. It did give me a lift to go look at the outside of it on Saturday with DS and for him to be as struck as I was with the view. He's really looking forward to visiting me there - and I've said he could potentially use it for a week's holiday while I'm away some time as well. He was very excited about that as his money is tight. He like me values alone time... and there are lots of lovely walks nearby including along a canal nearer to the main town.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
