Thanks Jwil, Beanie and WD
I ended up working all day almost 6 hours today so wasn't very impressed. I haven't finished and need to do more tomorrow. I had to leave to go to counselling and I took my art work and showed it off. Then it was art class.
Tonight's class involved using newspaper to create a collage effect with some of the text showing through. I used bright colours for mine - and enjoyed what I ended up with. What's really clear in the session is that some people are very rule following, with a desire for accurate representation where some are much freer. I prefer the freer versions. My fruit therefore included purple, yellow, lime green, orange, red and a hint of teal plus a washed out blue-white collaged background. For context - it was based on a kiwi but I must admit in my colouring I was thinking more of representing the essence of a passion fruit!! I enjoyed myself.
I might buy a Sunday paper and have a go on a bigger scale and do a deliberately themed collage using the middle pull out pages. I was already planning to take art stuff with me to my cottage holiday - but might do so on an even bigger scale now. I also need to take my laptop and ID stuff - as the solicitor still hasn't sorted the ID check out. They have to set me up on an app and they haven't done that bit yet. Then tomorrow I should get sent the invoice to pay for my surveys. I was right that the surveyors recommended by the EA were all much more expensive that the ones via my mortgage lender.
I'll see if there's any washing I want to do in the morning. Then I'll endeavour to feed the cat, find it's crate and drop it off at the cattery so that's done. By the time I come back the washing might be ready for the drier. I'll then focus on the report I need to finish off. Hopefully a desire to leave for my holiday will concentrate my mind and help me focus. I got a bit lost in the detail today. I still need to spray the suitcases - so need to do that before bed. Then I also need to pack. I did some washing yesterday so should be mostly done. Unfortunately I left the electric blanket where the cat could find it and it snuggled up in it today. I therefore need to wash that as a priority together with anything else that needs washing. I want to take that with me.
I can't get into my cottage until around 4pm and it is only just over an hour away in theory so hopefully everything will fall into place. Right I'd best organise myself and try to either get to bed - or at least start making lists or piles ready to pack.
Hope you are all staying safe where you are and aren't too impacted by any storms.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
