Glad to hear you are finding time for art.3

Thanks Jwil and Blackats
The conveyancer replied and said I can send it back electronically.
I am pleased I'm doing art again as it's an MH safety valve for me and I always find it rejuvenating/refreshing. Really looking forward to the class tonight as we are doing some more abstract painting - I think on wood.
I started work an hour later than normal as I was feeling so exhausted. Just using up some flexi. I started taking the double dose today and felt a bit better about 90mins later - so I think it is part of the meds impact from having to change due to the shortages. I can take another dose at 2pm. I still need to set up those alarms.
I may be helping DD decorate her house this weekend - she hasn't confirmed back yet. I need to dig through my supplies and see what else I can give or lend her to minimise her costs.
I also want to go round some furniture places and investigate new sofas and ottoman bed options and at least cost them up. I also want to investigate different kitchen suppliers and get a feel for likely costs. Looking at the cabinets in her kitchen again - she has 4 half depth wall cabinets, 2 mini cupboards, a wine rack that is useless to me, an undersink cupboard, 2 mini drawers and 1 proper drawer, 2 full depth cupboards but one is under the sink and the other is where I'd need to put the dishwasher! She then has an undercounter fridge and separate freezer - and then at least a double width of counter which she's put some kind of metal unit underneath which she has baskets on. I don't know if that would be staying or not.

Sounds like you have some mental bandwidth for art again now that the house situation is different3

Thanks Jwil, Beanie and WD
As you say WD - being able to picture where I'm due to be next is better for me than the limbo land of having sold but not knowing what's next. Work has also settled down so although the meds aren't great that's reduced that pressure massively. Last week, this and next week I'm due to take back some flexi. I have lots of days off coming up so that is also making me happier. Very much counting down to my holiday. Doable though - I just may need to use savings. Over the next 3 months I'm off the equivalent of 1 day in 4 - so happy days.
I think this month any 'savings' will just be a transfer from a lower interest savings account to a higher one - and that in practice I'll be withdrawing to pay for move related stuff - which is part of what it was there for. Just realised I haven't got the cost of the cattery in my monthly budget anywhere or the cost of the cat's vaccinations the week I get back. So that's about £62 left to pay for the cattery and I can't remember if it's £28 or more like £38 for the vaccinations... Either way it's a blow. However, I don't know if it's the further lot of anti-flea stuff second month in or the colder weather but the cat is looking a lot clearer which is improving my willingness to be around him. I didn't enjoy being bitten!!
When I do art - I wonder how I ever stopped. Tonight's art was a seascape - but they wanted us to use tools other than brushes. That was fun - it's not finished yet. They loved my different paintings of the hare - especially the more pop art one which I was worried they might see as too childish. I seem to have made a friend. I've invited someone over for acrylic pouring at the weekend all being well. Should be fun. However - I got home and realised it clashes with my covid vaccine - so just asked if they want to change the time! Ah well - I never pretended to be perfect. Someone in art class was horrified and told me I had paint on my leggings - she looked really shocked when I said they were like that when I came. Who are these people who paint and don't get messy? Not me that's for sure!

Re selling your art- thinking about it like maybe you are meeting a need might help? There will be some people who might be missing out on art because they haven't got their visual needs met?5

Sounds like you've plans for everything.
Moving from lower to higher interest rates still keeps momentum going.
Art class seems very beneficial to your wellbeing, a great escape and de-stress time is money well spent.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Great to have some time off coming up and a new friend.
I can't do anything without making a mess of myself, I'd have no chance in a painting class. I don't understand how people do it!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3
