    Thanks Beanie, Jwil and EH

My garage is integral so shouldn't have an issue with damp. Currently I'm not so much packing as challenging my remaining belongings and working out what to still let go rather than move - including furniture. I mostly use cube units - so other than clothes and current bedding and furniture the main 'packing' left to do would be:

    1.  garage - sell FF, sell e-bike, pack contents of a cupboard and shelving - probably biggest job left to do. Need to get some crates and bedding bags back from DD to help with this
    2. shed - empty a small cupboard (1/4 of this is fireworks which I need to soak and then bin) lots of crates/baskets in that cupboard, plus long handled tools and appliances, rest mostly in containers already thanks to cleaner,
    3. kitchen ( 2 mini drawers, 4 full size drawers, 5 full size cupboard (including under sink all have part basket storage inside), 5 mini size (3 of which are food), 2 half size (part container storage inside of food) plus appliances)
    4. utility (3 cupboards plus appliances - part already in crates/mini baskets),
    5. understairs cupboard (mainly contained plus appliances)
    6. coat cupboard (craft drawers, plus coats, wrapping paper and a crate).

I still need DD to remove her 2 bikes which she hasn't done yet. One is on the wall but her e-bike she plans to sell but I don't know how much for. She'll probably want my help with that.

My solicitor isn't local as that was £0.8-1.4K more so gone with a national chain my mortgage company is happy with. I'm not really buying local to me either. The ID check can be done via an app for the solicitor.

I have savings I could cover fees from it's just I'd rather not withdraw from them. The mortgage company wants savings statements anyway so will know that. I've told them I just use the CCs for points and pay them in month. They just wanted to know max values in month in the last 30 days. The £50 element is a bank transfer so can sort that - the other £450 is what I might put on a CC. I prefer to pay new companies on a CC as it is easier to dispute the charge later if needed.

I need to set up more meds specific phone alarms. I have one more day left of the 'first week regime' but not happy at meds this week at all. I'm really tired and getting no real benefit but am having sleep issues. Thursday I can in theory up dose but if don't get a benefit next week I may ditch them.

Can you chivvy DD along to sell the bike? With Christmas looming it’s an ideal time. Sorry to hear the meds aren’t helping   Hope the sleep sorts itself out. I know how you feel re lack of sleep.

Thanks Lucielle - I sent you a PM with the hare picture. Don't know if you found it yet.

I nipped to the shops after work - but probably shouldn't have done. Got some high calorie foods, some bleach and art stuff. One of the things this course has opened my eyes to - is that I've been feeling I couldn't do certain types of art as I couldn't see/focus well enough with varifocals etc. By supersizing the art - and then later photographing it - it gets completely around that issue - although obviously you use more materials - it's still a big win. Worth going on the course to realise that - as well as the increased confidence from being able to draw and paint recognisable things...

I still need to have my tea. Belatedly started cooking it now. One of my sister's isn't having a fun time so she phone me again tonight - which kind of delayed my whole routine.

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Glad you enjoyed the art class and have found new ways to overcome obstacles sometimes treat food is needed so do not feel bad. Are you still considering selling your art? Just thinking with it coming up to Christmas there might be a market for gifts etc.

Thanks LWAP, Lucielle, TG and Jwil

I played about with 3 slightly more abstract versions of the hare over the last couple of evenings including a pop art version. I've been enjoying myself. Thanks for the compliment Lucielle.

@TallGirl still using every excuse in the book not to sell my art... I do need to at some point. At least in marketing my house - I put a lot more of my canvases up on the wall than I had before so at least the best pieces are on display. However - they then become favourites and harder to part with... Then I use the excuse for the ones not on display that they are not good enough etc...

While marketing my house I stopped making art for a few months and with my recent high workload also rarely went out. So the current class is to boost my confidence again in both my art and my social skills. I don't want to jump to trying to sell while I'm trying a different type of art - as I don't want the quest for 'perfection' to interfere with the current 'learning through play' aspect. I bought myself another sketch book yesterday to play and have fun with and experiment between more realistic art and more pop art or slightly abstract versions of the same subject. My cleaner is also an artist and she liked the different version of what I'd done.

My cleaner binned three quarters of what was in the twin door utility cupboard and containerised most of what was left. She took a few bits for herself with my consent. She's cleaned the house and put all my washing away. Will continue to chip away at stuff to reduce what I keep. If she wants to come while I'm away - I'll probably ask her to go back to sorting my photos - as we stopped that part way through and it would be good if she could finish it before I move. My goal is to be able to create some nice photobooks for the kids and to have the rest of the photos sorted by year.

I read the remaining legal docs this evening and replied to them and basically said - send me a printed version unless I'm allowed to complete and sign stuff online only. I can then nip into work at some point and scan - but it feels a cheek to print there. I've also asked for some clarity on what I pay upfront and who I'm paying for what bits as there seems to be a slight conflict between what they've sent and what I was told verbally last week. Realistically it's likely to be after Xmas before I move - so I need to consider what that means financially and any impacts that may have on pension etc. At least the mortgage company confirmed what I owed the other day and my estimate was pretty bob on so I was pleased about that.

My car insurance goes out tomorrow on a CC. Then I get paid Friday and will clear all my CC's again. Sent myself my payslip ready for my mortgage call next week. Ordered more window privacy film tonight so I can get it on the remaining window in the fourth bedroom.

Hope you get the printed copies sent.  If not, our libraries offer printing?
