Cleaner came today which was positive. She re-sprayed the flea spray for me on the hall carpet and any soft furnishings the cat had access to. The cat is improving but I'm still finding 'visitors'. The cleaner has continued thinning out the contents of my garage and the clear floor space is improving so it seems to be working. I set her the task last week of gradually moving surplus items from the garage into the empty storage in DD's room - that way it is also packed. I've also given her permission to bin some stuff without showing me it all.

I need to practice more self-care. In addition to a report I wrote late yesterday, I have escalated some further issues and asked for top level support with their resolution. Let's just hope that does the trick. I scared myself today - in my brain stuttering to a crawl - but I think it was partly due to these meds too - but wonder if that's what my body really feels like under the meds... I feel like the guy in the film who works out how to unlock his brain with some meds but then has unexpected consequences... Need to try and take things easier tomorrow. I've worked 4 days worth of hours in 3 days though despite finishing earlier than originally planned today!

I am getting to sleep late and waking early every day at the moment as I am so worried about work. I don't want to draw attention to myself - otherwise I'd ask for work related counselling - as it is I'm just paying for the extra sessions myself. I do get over-invested but obviously which can be an MH problem but has benefits for the business. I've moved counselling to two-weekly from three-weekly. I'm hoping that the extra workload should ease off soon - although I'm worried that all my business as usual stuff is piling up and waiting for me while I firefight the current crisis and that it will all hit me as soon as this part finishes. It was that part of my workload that I had a meeting on yesterday and it wasn't particularly reassuring. It is largely waiting for me - even though I've asked others to do their part of the work and send it to me most of them haven't.

I've sent an email asking for a viewing slot Saturday afternoon. Let's hope that's positive.  I get paid Friday and then have a hair appointment Saturday am.

    Life admin to do
    • Chase BG
    • Chase my EA for the Memo re the offer.
    • Book a car service and MOT - ask them if they can change my tyre or if I should go to a national place for that
    • Get car insurance quotes
    • Arrange viewing slot - check if there are any new options that are affordable
I've been holding on to the hope of a holiday after this workload eases - but today I started panicking that I couldn't afford that and move. I need to still do it though as part of practicing self care - and if that means I have to borrow a little towards the next house on a CC / loan then that's fine. I still don't think I can book it though as deadlines are at risk of drifting. I'm only talking about a cottage style holiday which shouldn't break the bank.

Done that multiple times still not resolved. Managed to do formal complaint. Still no response since mid August.

Pop a calendar reminder 8 weeks after the formal complaint opened and at that point you can take it to the ombudsman.
