Sorry to hear work hasn't settled yet.
N.Wales is stunning, I spent many weekends there.
If you've got lavender growing at home, snip some flowers off, let them dry and put them in an organza bag or similar, slip them inside your pillowcase.

I got unusually stressed trying to tidy up for the viewer as I wasn't sure I was going to make it. She said my home was lovely - but who knows. Not had any formal feedback yet.
I listened to a book after that and took it easy.
I've just filled in the form related to my meds. It's structured questions suggest that the times when my anxiety is peaking is an average of around 4 hours after taking it - and that it therefore could be when the current dose is wearing off. As I increase the dose over the next few weeks I should hopefully see it last longer and those symptoms improve. I've lost 2.5lbs this week just cutting down on junk food so pleased with that and hope it continues. I've also had a more active week.
I had a nice lie in today so feel better. I get paid Tuesday so looking forward to that.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've written to the prescriber - and he's responded and thinks my experiences this week are linked to the meds and will improve as I increase the dose. So I'm going on a higher dose from tomorrow (2 days early). I'm really hoping that this helps me get in control of my eating - it's been much better this week.
I cut myself a quarter of my fave coffee cake yesterday evening - but only ate an eighth. Didn't waste it - saved the rest for today - went to eat it after brekkie and only managed half of the eighth. I can't explain how unusual an experience that is for me!! A few times this week I've realised I'd eaten enough of my meal and put the remains in the bin. I normally feel constantly hungry and almost compelled to stuff something in my mouth. Apparently that's linked to a desire for dopamine. That compulsion seems to have gone currently which feels amazing. Hoping my stomach shrinks - helping me sustain it.
Not dressed yet. Debating what to do with my afternoon. Debating a drive out to where I theoretically want to live and having a mooch around. It does mean I'd refuel early - increasing my carryover CC spend - however because how the P1p payment falls relative to my mortgage payment - I'm carrying a higher cash balance in my account that more than compensates for it. I may make a list of other properties and perhaps do a drive by and see what they look like in practice in their setting and how overlooked or otherwise they are. I will also check out what local shops there are etc and other things to do.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Glad the meds seem to be making a difference, hope it continues and the anxiety improves.

Interesting to read about your experience with the medication.I hope work settles down for you.5

There’s a lot of nuance to negotiate with these medications, aren’t there.Hope the drive bys are interesting / positive. 😊Interesting to read that wanting a dopamine hit is likely driving your eating. I have a similar pattern - I wonder if there are other ways of getting the dopamine hit without either the food or the meds? 🤔 Sounds like the meds are the right way for you, and good luck with the increased dose, I might try doing some research in body-hack type alternatives.
