Thanks Mark, Dancing and MF
One of the nice things about selling is I am buying myself flowers... Mini treats. I have a mix of shop and garden ones... I arranged another large vase today and a mini one. All for 8.50.
Tomorrow evening I am going to a birthday tea for my nephew. That should be fun.

Thanks Jwil and Merlin - Merlin - sorry I missed your earlier post.
I don't think the Monday house is going to come off - and I'm not sure I want it too despite its stunning views. When I went to see the valley one the scenery was so amazing I felt like I was coming home. I didn't get that feeling on Monday even though the scenery close to the house was also amazing.
Until I have a decent offer on this house I'm limited in what I can do anyway.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Lucielle.
The journey to see sis was horrendously congested yesterday. They'd closed a couple of lanes. It took twice as long as it should have so I came back really tired. My nephews and niece were pleased to see me so that was nice and it was good to be fed.
I have non-stop meetings today until about 3.30pm. I need to find a way of ducking out of some of them early.
I got paid today which was nice. I've paid £495 off a CC straightaway. An empty savings account has paid me £3 - better than nothing. A regular saver matures tomorrow so may have to wait until Monday to find out how much interest that one paid. It's not got a lot in at the moment as it's what I used to pay DD's car from a couple of months ago. The one she's been in twice so far. She's due to go out with Ex in it tomorrow so hopefully she will start using it more soon. Her re-test is a while off yet.
Not heard back from Wednesday's viewer - given they stayed an hour I was hopeful. I have another viewer tomorrow. I've extended the viewing time options across a wider week in case that helps get more viewers. I have to confirm each one anyway.
I think I'm going to walk away from the house I saw Monday as the area didn't feel like home despite stunning views. Similarly I may cancel Monday's viewing. I've enquired about a difference house. It's on a B road so unsure about it - but it's a 20mph one - and the property is set well back and has a huge garden. It's up for £25K more than one I enquired about on the same street a few weeks ago that went straight away although the EA hasn't spelled out how big the garden is I am hoping it might be similar.
I have only had my house on the market 2 weeks and already it feels like forever. I keep having to remind myself that its normal not to sell this quick and to stay with it. I need to rush around and get dressed now as I have a meeting at 9am - luckily on video rather than in person.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Happy Payday, and well done on the AVC payment.
Hope today isn't too bad, the days with back-to-back meetings are awful.
Good luck with the viewings."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
Thanks Jwil. I appealed to a manager and got out with one meeting which gave me some breathing space to have lunch.
I need to do some work this weekend as I'm behind - and to be fair I still owe time from a few weeks ago. I'm exhausted though so need to give my brain a break to reset.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
