My local Asda always charges 0.2p per litre less than the Tesco the other side of the roundabout. Nothing new, they've been doing for at least 10 years to my knowledge.0

Obviously you can pay less if you can be bothered, or the 15 mile drive makes it cheaper, but they are hardly going to say that are they?
I remember when Tescos used to have signs up that if there are more than a certain number of people in the queue that they would open another checkout. They disappeared when they sacked half the staff became more efficient.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

But given the RAC charge a lot more for a replacement battery than other retailers. It really is pot, kettle & black 🤣Life in the slow lane2 -
