If the colour is not what it appeared to be as advertised when it's out of the packaging then you have a case in sending it back. I have never sent anything back before until last week. I was going to put up with what was sent and then I thought what a waste I'll never use it. I even felt guilty following the return procedure but it was accepted and off it went. Just do it you have nothing to lose.
As it was bought online the OP doesn't need a reason to return it.
But if it isn't faulty you don't get a free return, the cost of sending it back to the retailer may need to be met by the purchaser.
Thanks. That is what I thought as to me the T&C's were not clear hence my thread here seeking help.
Specifically with Amazon it can also vary depending on the item. Clothing often has free returns, other items they generally deduct the postage.
Thanks, it is a smart speaks x 2 one not opened as we are sill deciding - if we need to return as stated by another here I will see what is in the rop down menu and chose accordingly.
They also said that Amazon has a FoC label for items to be collected from our house via post office. Thanks

Worth a note here that Amazon's 30 day policy requires the items to be returned as they were sent, that said the policy doesn't appear to stop you using the item as it goes on to say " Used items must not have any additional signs of use or damage." Although I don't know if that refers to 2nd hand items as the policy page mentions buying from sellers as well as Amazon....

The period to cancel the contract regardless of condition is 14 days beginning the day after delivery.

Typically I would imagine Amazon refund most customers in full but they may reduce the refund (I say may, I think their cancellation period is 1 day short but good luck debating that one with overseas CS via chat).

If you do decide to send the opened speaker back I'd do the returns flow within the 14 days.

I didn't say you did either. Was just continuing your point that a reason isn't needed, but in those cases you may need to pay.
