My experience with Amazon is that, if it's a change of mind, you will have the return postage deducted from your refund.  If the goods are faulty, you will get a full refund.
If you have Amazon Prime most returns, including change of mind, are free.

If the colour is not what it appeared to be as advertised when it's out of the packaging then you have a case in sending it back. I have never sent anything back before until last week. I was going to put up with what was sent and then I thought what a waste I'll never use it. I even felt guilty following the return procedure but it was accepted and off it went. Just do it you have nothing to lose.
As it was bought online the OP doesn't need a reason to return it.

Not sure about that. I've returned a few things due to a simple change of mind and I've been charged a deduction from the refund for the return.

Even if I just don't like the colour and have taken it out of the sealed box/etc?

When you start the returns process you will be given a list of reasons to choose  as to why you are returning it. ( well that's what had always happened to me). For each reason it will state whether the return is free or not.  Take it from there.  Quite often" not as expected" is free which is pretty much what you are experiencing.  There is usually also a variety of return methods to choose. Post Office, evri etc

Yes, how can you establish colour without viewing it?
