Glad you are determined not to pay.

If the PCN is for not paying a tariff can you remind us of the circumstances please?

Sent this to them and they then said I should of paid within 10 mins of parking but sign as you exit says can pay before leaving . I sent them a photo of this .

Ah that's perfect.  A solid set of facts for defence.  Nothing to worry about.  If you are at LBC stage then robustly re-state the position and tell them in writing that there is no cause of action and they should 'go swivel'.

Are you sure you typed in one incorrect letter OR could it be that the keypad on the ATM was faulty - not unheard of!  Did they actually use this grammatically incorrect form of words?  If it was you, make sure there are no similar typos/errors when you submit your defence.

I think I pressed it wrong and they said I had put in wrong Reg . My reg starts with MX and I put SX .  Should I not write to the Litigation Dept again with my defense ? One thing that puzzles me is that they send these letters by 2nd class post and not where I have to sign . What proof have they that I have received them ? I could just say I have not received any letters .

Forget that.  They don't have to prove sending.

Defence.  No 's' (important to get things spot on when you are going to be defending a court claim).

But yes that's what I already advised you to do.

Freudian slip?  Anything else on your mind at the time? 😄
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
