Heating is usually on all evening (around the 20 C mark) from around 5pm - 10pm Mon - Sat, most of the day on Sundays. My reading on 1 Nov was 66. Tonight it is 103. 37 cubic metres in 17 days, so around 24 kWH a day. I shower most days and use my airfryer (in the main) for cooking, so gas cooker rarely used.

Oh I forgot about 2 showers yesterday too!DerwentMailman said:
I live in the NorthEast and experienced a similarly cold wet miserable day to yourself (similar outdoor temps). Thermostat at 17.5c in the morning, kicked in again circa 3.30pm. Heating did not kick in after evening meal although we were under a heated throw but the temp was 18c until going to bed. So slightly lower boiler temps and slightly lower thermostat settings led to a usage of 24kWh for the day. Similar weather today but slightly higher usage at 29kWh but that has included a bath. Temp in lounge currently 17.5c so might get away with no further bursts of heating. Overnight will probably see the lounge temperature dip to 15c.n Looking at the likely temperatures forecast for where I live leads me to think that the remainder of the month will see me using between 20-30 kWh/day wheras average usage/day up to this point in November has been 17.5kWh/daySpies said:I used 36kWh yesterday, that's with the thermostat set 18c for an hour in the morning then 16c all day then until 17:30 then 19c until 21:00
I live in the Northwest and our outdoor temperatures yesterday were between 6-10c
Today (without showers) is 30kWh with the same heating periods.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0 -
On occasion I have left my boiler on too long for heating water, and when I have checked the smart data afterwards I found 2nd hour usage was only down about 20% even though it reaches temperature during the first hour. Maybe if we get another sub 4p KwH day I might give it a 3rd hour to experiment. 4.21p today so if I remember and its cheap, next time I will experiment.0
