  • Afternoon all.  Super busy day yesterday which in turn meant a NSD! Whohoo! I also checked my loan balance today and it was less than I thought (I should have got the accurate figure in the first place!) so anyway, I have updated my signature to reflect this.  I have £10.05 in my survey accounts and £2.96 in my cashback account ready to go towards my December overpayment pot which is now up to £29.93, not bad for only a week into the month!  I'm off to do the weekly shop in a bit, budget this week is £60 so I'll report back how I get on! Well shopping went over budget £78, but i took the offer for 6 bottles of wine and save 25% so I saved £7.50.  We have some get togethers coming up so I now have a stash of wine stored up, so if you take that off the bill I did kind of come in on budget! MPS.x

  • Friday has landed! We have a really busy weekend ahead, but it's seeing friends and family, and as I have my wine stash all set up, there is no real need to spend too much. I've got 3 days left at work, then I'm off until the new year, and I am so excited for the break! Anyway, I probably won't get on here much over the next couple of days, but I'll be back on Monday B) MPS.x

  • Have a lovely weekend x
  • Good morning all! We had a great weekend and spending wise it was a very frugal weekend, just how I like them now!!  It's funny as I was out on a work lunch last week and one of the girls was saying how she's putting everything on a credit card at the moment and will deal with it next year, usually I wouldn't have batted an eyelid at this, but it really made me see how easy it is to stick stuff on a credit card, and it's probably stuff you don't actually need either.  I haven't used any form of credit for over a month now and I feel amazing for it, no panic attacks when I check my credit card balance, no wondering how on earth I'm going to pay it back, and what has really surprised me is I seem to actually have more money, sticking to my budget and only buying things we need has been such a game changer!  I don't think I have been this happy or at peace for a long time!! I could kick myself for not learning this years ago, but I am where I am and in just over 3 years time hopefully I will be able to say those magic words "I am debt free!!!" So, on that note, happy Monday and here's to a great week! MPS.x  B)

I also forgot to say, I have £215 pending in my cashback app and £400 on the way from doing 2 bank account switches, so that's a nice £600+ overpayment when it's all cleared! MPS.x
