Morning all, and happy Tuesday! My plan for today is to finish off my Christmas shopping so that's all done and dusted. My overpayment pot is up to £24.21 as of today, I plan to make a payment at the end of every month so I'll try and get a few more survey's done today and tomorrow and see if I can get it up to £30. I think that's all for now! MPS.xI AM DEBT FREE!!!!!! (as at 24.10.25)

@MissPennySave, I have just got my last present delivered for Christmas today and Im now all done and dusted. Just need to wrap mine.
Your overpayment pot is coming along nicely, I too have a PAD pot where I add my save the change from the bank account and also surveys, and I too make a lump sum payment to one of the CC's. Much better doing it that way!
Great to see you are keeping focus!

Being organised definitely pays off! I got 90% finished today, just need to order a few more bits but they are online so will do that tomorrow. Give my bank card a rest!
I was paying debts daily but I think a bigger lump sum will be better for me mentally! I am 100% committed to this journey, even if I am wishing the next 3 and a bit years away!!! MPS.x

So it's been 2 weeks and 1 day since I started my diary/journey so I thought I would try and give myself a little boost and put up some updated figures, so here goes:
Balances as at 14.11.22 / 29.11.22:
CC1 (0% until May 23) - £1669.23 / £1319.00
CC2 (0% until Sept 23) - £7980.00 / £7980.00
CC3 (0% until Jan 24) - £4825.00 / £4825.00
CC4 (4.9% until May 26) - £16888.98 / £16702.00
Total CCs = £ 31,363.21 / £30,826.00
Loan (ends April 27, £342.60 p/m) - £18142.43 / £18125.00
Grand total = £49,505.64 / £48,951.00
So in two weeks I have cleared £554.64 and gone down into the next thousand barrier! Glad I did this, as it has definitely given me a little boost!!!

Have you looked at your current spending? (A digression, I know). Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!1

Yes, I have a budget spreadsheet all set up which has all my bills on down to the last penny. I have a separate account for day to day spending, this doesn't include groceries etc, these come out of my main billing account.RobM99 said:Have you looked at your current spending?
