  • @LittleMissDetermined Good idea, I think that's what I'll do, I've made a little list and will just pop out and grab those bits.  I'll take the dog to the field so at least I can just stand still and launch a ball for him whilst feeling sorry for myself.x

Morning all, I am feeling a lot better today, still snuffly, but I no longer feel like I'm at deaths door!!  Whohoo.....so I make that a very happy Friday indeed!

A pretty quiet weekend ahead, I'm going to try and get as many NSDs in as I can as I've had a few unexpected things to pay out for this month so it's definitely leaving me a bit stretched.  But I have my overpayment pot with around £100 in so I am going to hold on to this in case I need it to get me through to payday.  I figured there's no point in paying extra to my debt if it's going to leave me short which would mean having to use a CC.  So that's my plan, its going to be a very quiet and boring month, but I am determined to stay on track, not increase any of my CC balances and to stay out of my overdraft!

Glad you’re starting to feel better! I think when you’ve been dealing with debt, any month where you don’t have to rely on credit is a win. :)

Morning everyone, well I am finally feeling better!  After a bad relapse at the weekend I am now on a course of antibiotics and, touch wood, they are doing the trick!! Still a bit snuffly but I feel a million times better already!  Phew, that was rough going!

Anyway, yesterday was a NSD, and other than a few top up groceries, today will be a NSD day as well.  I have 2 more DDs to come out totalling £75, then it's patiently waiting for payday until I can make the next round of payments, but its still lovely seeing those balance finally being reduced! • Sorry to hear you took a turn for the worse but I'm pleased your medication seems to be working xx

The long wait for the next pay day is tedious isn't it? That's why I budget my £1 daily PAD so I feel like I'm still making a difference each day.  I absolutely know I could just pay it all and wait, but I find there's something gratifying about paying towards a debt every day.

  • Gosh yes, mentally I bet that really spurs you on, I might try that next month (and this month if I have any spare cash I can send).  I'm still cutting in fine on my budget this month, but with my emergency pots I should just about make it through!x

I should have double bagged!!!! MPS  B) x
