I’ve been having the unable to load tap to retry since last week but my “block” came Monday afternoon. I couldn’t comment, tag or like anything. Still can’t and it’s been 48 hours? I’ve sent reports and asked for help on Instagram, even wrote a message to the CEO explaining this is many peoples hobbies, they’re not BOTS. But to no end. I’ve tried resetting my phone, deleting and re installing the app, tried on my iPad too, still doesn’t work. Then it comes up with restriction for the community protection, but my account status shows no breach?

I was blocked earlier in the year even though I was trying to be careful with tagging. Never managed to get back in again and my account was then deleted. Complaints never got a reply. Since I only use Instagram for comps it was not too much of a deal (unless I had won something on that account) and I have since created a new account using the same email. Both Facebook and Instagram have algorithms that do little to reduce spam and fake phishing accounts but do hit hard at a community that pursue a valid hobby, though never at the promoters of the competitions that require tags.

Has anyone been able to follow yet through a pc/laptop?  I'm still getting the message but am still able to follow using my phone.

Still have to use ' Instagram app' to follow, can only tag / comment on PC Browser.
Nobody from Instagram responded to reports, so they not interested in the kerfuffle.

It's a pain isn't it having to swap between pc and app. Not surprised they haven't responded though seeing as they are owned by facebook who never respond to anything but let scammers get away with all sorts.

No.  It's fine on my phone, but I can't follow on the website.  Definitely not down to over-use.  I've not been near instagram in months, and I'm just starting to do a few comps again.  I even tried the instagram app for my laptop, but that doesn't work either.

I've just got a commenting ban now as well. It will certainly make life easier for the advents and I can now get my life back

LOL doesn't stop the imitations / pretends where they use an underscore or misspell accounts. (also private)
