Its been very wet in Wales today! Got soaked through when I volunteered this morning at the local Park Run, not been feeling well enough to run recently so I volunteered instead, got me out of the house early and chatting so some lovely people. Amazing dedicated people who get up early on a Saturday morning and run 5k, well done to each and everyone of them.

Small food shop done as I still have  a lot to use up from last week. SW has been going well this week, did hit a wall yesterday where I felt so unwell, tired, headache and sick, think its because I have not eaten any chocolate or biscuits, fingers crossed this will improve in the next few days.

Waiting for payments from Prolific and Top cashback when these arrive I will more them over to the 3-6 months emergency fund challenge. Nine more days until payday.

Moved £50.00 over to my  emergency fund, Top cashback arrived in the bank this morning. Parcel post when I was out and about this morning and I have two to pack this afternoon, that will get posted tomorrow.

Wow!  5lb that's a great result in your first week.  Good luck with getting your 1/2 stone award and shiny next week.

    Thank you @j@joedenise.

Just got back home from work before the rain started, sitting at my desk watching the down pour. Not feeling the greatest this afternoon, cold and shivery, refusing to put the heating on, in my dressing gown with a blanket over my legs.

Went to visit my DS this morning and we went out for breakfast in a café not far from where he lives, Full English for the boys and I had poached eggs on toast, trying to keep on plan. Reasonably price for three plates of food and three coffees £19.50. Lovely to see my DS, he only live 20 miles away but he is always working, not complaining, so today was a rare day off for him.  :)
Had a look around a few charity shops in the village, nothing caught my eye today, which is good as I am trying hard to declutter.
The rain has now stopped so a long dog walk is in order.

Up early for a dog walk before the rain came, back to being grey and miserable weather. On the brighter side I did get towel on the line for a few hours and they are now finishing off drying on the clothes horse. Hopefully if it dries up at some point they can go back on the line.

Need to order new suitcases for our holiday next month, just got ours down from the loft and they are very much worse for wear and I don't think they will with stand another trip abroad. I emptied my change tin earlier in the week and there was £70.00 in there so that can go towards the suitcases. Mr D can have a look online later when he has repaired the puncher to his bike tyre.

Will be popping out to the supermarket later as we need fruit and vegetable for the week,£20.00 should do it I think. Pulled some reduced port chops out of the freezer last night so will make some sort of cooked dinner for this evening.

Augusts budget has been done, just waiting for payday tomorrow to move money around.
