New suitcases ordered, old ones unpacked and sitting in the hall ready to go to the tip tomorrow. Have a pile of clothes that need trying on by both of us, if they don't fit they will be headed for the charity shop, along with another bag of random bit that were in the cases.
And I found a bag of Euros coins from our last holiday.

Good morning,
Its finally payday. All money has been moved around to where it needs to be. Also completed my work expenses and sent that off, £115 to go into my car pot in the middle of the month.
Working from home day today and weighing later, fingers crossed for a loss.
Ham joint in the oven, ham salad for dinner this evening and will make pea and ham soup tomorrow.

I've bookmarked your diary as you were in a similar position to me.
I paid off £15k of debt in 2021, but now with higher living costs, a toddler in nursery etc. I need to rebuild my savings.
I'm about to read through your whole diary to keep me motivated!

NSD 1
Today I have worked from home so no money spent.
To Do List for August
*Walk/Run 161 Kilometres (100miles) - Will be looking to do a few park runs and some running in the evenings, hopefully help with the weight lose as well.
*Make an extra £300 during the month, £9.67 per day - Car boots, surveys, selling sites.
* Increase eBay shop listings currently 142 looking for 250.
*Lose 8lb - which will be a 1s 1lb lost.
* 2022-2023 account complete, submitted and paid.
*Holiday packing.
*20 NSD.
*Keep food budget low while we eat our way through the freezers.
* Write week off to do list.
1lb lose last night at SW, was hoping for 2lb, that's next weeks aim. Love the start of a new month when I can write a new to do list.

NSD 2
Up very early this morning 5am could not sleep, so I finished my accounts, need to contact the accountant, to arrange to drop off. Feel much better now that is done.
Worked from home again today, so another NSD. Been looking out for a break in the rain all day, dog desperate to go for a walk but he wont in the rain. Finally got half an hour rain break so we had a quick walk. Happy dog.
Made pea and ham soup with the left over ham and bit from the fridge, several portions in the freezer for quick lunches.
Pay out from Vinted today so I have made my £5.99 towards my £300 side hustle goal.

Please summer come back! Early dog walk this morning, started off dry, just over half way through the heavens open and we returned home soaked through. Shower and a change of clothes for me and the dog has been running round in his towel coat. Fingers crossed for better weather.
Job on today list:
Ring to make a check up with the dentist, will be a spend day as I have to pay for the check up in advance.
Text hairdresser for appointment the week before we go on holiday.
Update building society books.
Buy milk.
Need to pop into the office this morning to pick up some papers for a meeting this afternoon. Time for another cup of tea and a look to see if there are any surveys to do.

Spend day:
Milk 4 pints - £1.45
Dental appointment - £14.70
Back home, building society books updated, more in one account than I thought, which is always a positive. Just time for some lunch, tuna salad and maybe a yogurt, before my meeting starts.

Walked the dog up to the local farm this morning, to get over weekly supply of eggs, we were a little early and no eggs out for sale, we will pop back tomorrow. Love the eggs from the farm, we have seen the chicken running around and there are only £1.50 for 1/2 dozen.
Cash out on Prolific this morning £11.77 and a £10.00 e voucher from my dog walking app, £27.76 toward my £300 goal.
Another working from home day and also a NSD as there were no eggs, looking forward to 4pm when I can put on my out of office for a weeks annual leave.
