Tax bill paid this morning, pleased that's done for another year.

Early start today as I want to get everything up to date for my long weekend. Have a meeting later today in a small seaside town near me, haven't been there for a while, may have a walk along the seafront later. I like being near the sea, love the energy it give off.

Book parcel wrapped and ready for collection at some point today.

Lovely morning walking around a Food Festival in a village close to us. Lots of lovely food taster on offer, bought some local cheese, a box of fudge that I will be using for a gift and a coffee.
Called into the local Co-Op and if you signed up to there app, they there giving away small food boxes containing sausages, potatoes, cake, yogurt and a can of local beer. We both signed up and got a box each, you do have to pay £1.00 to join however we got this back when we spent in store.

This afternoon will be spent pottering around the house, was hoping for an afternoon in the garden, there will be no chance of that the amount of rain that is coming down.

Busy day back in work after the long weekend. Had a parcel delivery arrange for this morning and he put a card through the door saying I wasn't home when I was. Rearranged for tomorrow will leave in the green house regardless.
Dropped  4 bag of stuff off to a local charity this afternoon and posted two parcels. Pleased the stuff is leaving the house, still have loads to declutter, will keep chipping away.
Also managed to re-pot a plant, picked up reduced compost yesterday £2.45 a bag, have to go to the post office tomorrow, so I will call into the shop and see if there are any more bags left.

Its pay day, all money has been moved to where it needs to be. Holiday money has been moved over to my Chase account, just need to remember to take the card with me when we go. I have also counted the cash I have in my Fiver Friday and 1p challenge tins, £215.00, moved £215.00 into my 3-6 months emergency fund and I will used the cash for groceries next month.

Just wondering!  Why are you paying your tax now when it isn't due until 31st Jan 24?  Why not stick it in a savings account.  I usually pay mine between Christmas & New Year, so before they are horrendously busy.  I also pay by cheque because as far as they are concerned I am unable to go online.

I like to pay the bill as soon as I get it, one year I was late paying had problems with logging in, my anxiety levels rocketed.

What a beautiful morning! Dog walk completed, went and picked some fresh eggs up for breakfast from the local farm. This week is going to be use up what ever is in the fridge in readiness for our holiday on Sunday. So breakfast will be bacon and eggs and grilled tomatoes as there are a load of tomatoes to use up

Going to make a start on the packing and I have a few bits that need to be washed and ironed ready to pack. Also planning on tidying up the garden, patio needs to be jet washed and pots need weeding.

Going to make the most of the lovely day.

Yesterday was spend in the garden, jet washing the patio and general tidying up. Found the jet washing soooo satisfying, watching the grime being washed away.  :)

Busy out and about day today with work. Have a list of what I need to achieve by end of the day Friday, before out of office goes on.

Just order my Christmas meat hamper online with our local butcher, hamper was £72.00 this year which I think is amazing value for what you get and the meat is extremely good quality, have to order early as they are very popular.
