Today's small wins.
NSD - been out visiting clients today and left my purse at home, didn't need to spend any money.
Made healthier food choices today, not had any chocolate or bread, my two downfalls.
Small cash out from survey site that will go into savings tomorrow.
And I have just received a book I order from Amazon with vouches, Menopause Weight Loss, so this will be my bedtime reading.

Today's small wins.
NSD as I worked from home and have only been out to walk the dog.
Cancelled two of my four credit cards. One I will be keeping open and the other I gave up as I could only get through to their automated services and kept going round in circles, so annoying.

Prolific has been extremely good today, will be sending a few more pennies over to the savings challenge in the next few days.
Weather has been horrible today and we had a thunderstorm last night and a power cut, lasted about 20 minutes, thank goodness for candles. Hoping for a dry day soon so I can get some washing on the line, not a fan of drying indoors and I didn't replace the tumble dryer when it stopped working earlier in the year.
Annual leave day tomorrow, being taking for a belated birthday meal, first time we have been able to get together since September.

Good morning,
When you find your diary again after a while.
Happy to say I am still debt free which makes me supper proud of myself. The last few months have been tough and I could have easily spent a load of money on things I don't need or really want. Savings are going okay, not as good as I would like, so I need to keep myself accountable over the next few months.
We are off on holiday in September, our first time abroad since Covid and I am so looking forward to going away. There will be no holiday clothes shopping, I am going to wear what I already have, so I need to loose some weight, aiming for 1 stone to start with.
Also I want to make the spending money, looking at £300, I have some money in a sealed tin that I have been saving since the beginning of the year.
So the plan for the next few months is to loose lbs and make £.

Dog had a short walk this morning as we got caught in the heaviest down pour of rain, we were both soaked. Will walk extra this evening and dress more appropriately for the weather.
Breakfast this morning was a smoothie, yogurt, milk, strawberries and blueberries from the garden and banana that I had in the freezer. Last GP visit advised more dairy as I am having issues with joint and bone pain. Will be reducing the amount of bread I eat this week, I do love bread, hopefully will get a weight loose at the end of the week.
Lunch will be salad and dinner this evening will be bacon that needs using from the freezer, new potatoes and poached eggs.
Working from home this morning, out and about after lunch, need to fill up the car with petrol. I have a savings pot especially for the car and petrol, this pot has been build up from my expenses every month, so I will be classing today as a NSD.

Up bright and early this morning, dog has been walked and there is some washing on the line, fingers crossed that is starts too dry before the rain sets in.
Meatballs and tomato sauce have been taken out of the freezer for dinner this evening, set myself a challenge to use up as much as possible from the freezers before we go on holidays, ideally want to empty and defrost the smaller one. Our local butcher has started doing monthly meat pack which look amazing and are good value. So I would like to buy a few packs after holidays.
Working from home again this morning and out and about this afternoon, need to pick up my new prescription, been prescribed folic acid as mine is extremely low, fingers crossed it will help with the joint pain I am experiencing.
Going to list a few items on my little eBay shop before work, been neglecting my shop of late as I have not been feeling the greatest.

Found a carton of cream at the back of the fridge earlier, only a few days out of date, will turn into butter when my next meeting finishes. Mr D will be pleased as he prefers homemade butter to shop bought. Just wont say the cream was slightly out of date.

Good morning,
Up bright and early again, dog has been walked and there is a line of washing blowing in the breeze, the sky is looking ok at the moment, no black rain clouds.
Avocado toast for breakfast, to use up the avocado and a few slices of white bread. Sat outside in the garden to eat breakfast, I enjoy sitting out side while the world is waking up, best part of the day.
Working from home again this morning and out this afternoon. No plans to spend any money as we don't need anything.
Joined the 3-6 Months Emergency Fund Challenge, I have a small amount of saving that are ear marked for different things, looking to get £5000 to start with which would be three months wages.

What a wet day it has been today! Up very early for the dog walk, managed to get 15 minutes from home before the heavens opened, the raindrops where extremely large. Our dog was so not impressed and couldn't get home fast enough.
Aldi has open a new store a few miles away from us, so we went and checked that out this morning, very impressed, its a large store, there was plenty of room to move the trolly around and very well stocked. We will be visiting again soon. Grocery shopping was mainly fresh fruit and veg. I have decided that I am going back to slimming group next week as I am not have great results trying to lose weight alone. My size is making me very unhappy and I am feeling so unhealthy.
Rest of the day has been spent pottering around the house and photographing bits for my shop. Off for a relaxing bath, going to find a film to watch and an early night.
