I'm going to call this mission accomplished.....
OH had sold MiL's chair (one of those "help you stand" ones) for £500 and was paid cash so has been using that when he's been out shopping. One shop included a very large item from Lidl (hot tub £299) which turned out wasn't going to fit in the space available. So that was returned but of course the cashier didn't have a spare £299 available so I suggested they refund it to my credit card - which they were happy to do.
So my previous total of £254.26 is now £553.26/365 for 47!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Wanted to do a bit of cheerleading and encouraging given that we're already into September.
And then I realised there's not been updating happening for some time. And then I realised that the individual @kdalwayskint who set up their thread hadn't posted themselves since January. Hope all is well with them and they've just gotten busy with lots of other fun things instead.
So I've tried to update based on the original list set up last December with additions and updates that I could easily find. All of which means it may not be accurate. So do please check and beep me and I will continue to update occasionally.
Because I'm me I've dropped this into an excel spreadsheet so it should be easy for everyone to copy and paste to do searches to find out what has been logged.
For those that haven't updated, haven't saved for whatever reason please know this isn't a name and shame at all. Just a reminder that there's still time before the end of the year to edge a bit closer to where you want to be. I have noticed that a lot of you have been very busy on other "clear a debt" threads which is grand and you've also been decluttering (always a poss source of ££) as well as crafting, eating and generally offering support to others. So whatever you have been up to - keep up the good work.no name saved goal 1 kdalwayskint 49 365 2 JGB1955 1,520.00 1460 3 Makingabobor2 5.00 365 4 claremylove 365 365 5 makingmehappy 31.00 365 6 ZaSa1418 100.00 1095 7 Pauper1 365 8 threepenny_bit 300.00 365 9 StickyTheStickInsect 365 10 Ellie79 365 11 MrFrugalFever 313.45 365 12 DrCarrie 850.00 900 13 Westie983 274.00 365 14 SuperSavingD 1200.00 1500 15 Toonie 90.00 365 16 herebeme 90.00 365 17 BSideBaby 365 18 shell16 1250 19 lindoz 165.52 365 20 milann 365 21 funfairprincess 365 22 srmlac 121.75 365 23 GeorgianaCavendish 800.00 800 24 JingsMyBucket 331.50 550 25 Dfw38 1.00 365 26 MissPennySave 14.00 365 27 cw18 200 28 Cinnamongirl 365 29 caracara 365 30 missmoneywatch 365 31 Charley27 1,066.60 365 32 girlie1412 365 32 A_L 29.00 365 33 MrsCD 669.00 650 34 notpropaganda73 160.78 700 35 bekah89 30.00 365 36 RandomOne 100.00 1000 37 skye_blue 93.00 365 38 IrishRose12 750 39 HappyFriday05 38.00 365 40 CMD79 62.00 730 41 Bry16 365 42 Gettingmyshiztogether 305.00 730 43 enthusiasticsaver 1,000.00 1000 44 KajiKita 365 45 outofthviciouscircle 124.00 730 46 CreditCardJunkie 365 47 Brie 553.26 365 48 Its_time 31.00 365 49 Sallyforth 720.00 720 50 crystallize 50.00 1000 51 scrimpandsave 36.00 365 52 Lexilou 500 53 LLM2018 100.00 365 54 sams247 62.00 350 55 Lulamay17 365 56 Diane1276 730 57 Toni'sfriend 1,000.00 1000 58 Cherry_22 165.00 365 59 ej22 365 60 BlueJ94 5.00 365 61 Tink_04 144.50 730 62 allie23 100.00 365 63 krustylouise 50.00 1000 I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
