Cleared out the piggy bank last week and have made 2 attempts to get the contents into my bank account. First try found that the bank actually closed at 3:30 instead of the expected 5. Second attempt got into the branch to discover that none of the coin counting machines were working and no idea when they'll be fixed. I doubt they will be fixed before the branch closes permanently next Tuesday so I'll be looking for another way to deal with them. update for 47 now at 65.16 out of 365. This is due to starting to use the bag of coins I've got in the car for shopping. Disgracefully out of the 12 self service tills at the Taxco store only 2 take cash - something I hadn't clocked before starting to pay for my purchase. Fortunately I was at a cash one which was fine but then a few other people had to wait while I fed pennies into the silly contraption. Thought it best to start using the shrapnel first as more places will be happy to take the 50ps and ££.
