I've reached my goal. Can't believe I've managed that already! So that won't be touched for anything but Christmas presents. So I've opened another little amount to save for birthday presents for next year. At £9.87/£1000.00 to begin with.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.2

Had an odd save moment. Not sure all will agree but I'm going to call it saving.....
£200. Cuz the OH transferred too much money on to our travel credit card. And the CC co didn't like that we were in credit. So I went to a ATM and took out the £200. So I'm using that for my shopping instead of the card I normally use. I could, of course, simply have used the CC that was in credit but the co kept sending me cranky messages. Turns out I could have simply got them to transfer the money into our account that we have set up for the DD but it didn't occur to me at the time.
So new total is £254.26/365 for 47.

#23 at £475 ... I've knocked down my monthly savings down to £75 as other expenses are going up. I'll have a look at it again in a couple of months.

#43 adding a further £100 to the Christmas savings pot so only £200 now to reach my target.
