I did this in September. Already had a Natwest select account that was not used, offer was available to new and existing account holders so I switched a redundant Barclays account to get the switch bonus. I paid in £1250 out of my savings. Does anyone know, do you have to leave the £1250 in there until January to gain the bonus or can I transfer it back to my saving account again.
CC limits £26000
Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0 -

I have Reward accounts with RBS and Natwest, both of which specify a minimum monthly pay-in, but the money is never in there longer than a few minutes. Your only obligation was to pay in the £1250...........entirely down to you if you choose to withdraw £1249 of it minutes later!0 -
Is there a deadline of when you have to pay in by or if you sign up in November it needs to be by the end of the month?0
