You were expecting that, weren't you?AffiaAngel said:Hi all. I've received a letter dated 28th Dec from the DCB Legal saying the claimant wants to continue. I haven't had a letter from the court yet so do I just ignore their letter and await the official letter from the court or shall I start planning the next steps? Thanks
Item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence says...Might be worth re-reading items 8, 9, 10 and 11 on that list.

They are (exactly where they should be) in the Template Defence thread...which you saw, because you read those steps in order to email your defence to the right place.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you @Coupon-mad, i've found the thread again.
I have filled out the questionnaire now but the only issue is this one is laid out slightly different, D1 being the question "Suitability for determination without hearing". I'm unsure if I should tick yes or no? It explains "Do you consider that this claim is suitable for determination without a hearing, i.e. by a judge reading and considering the case papers, witness statements and other documents filed by the parties, making a decision, and giving a note of reasons for that decision?"
I feel I would tick yes to it with the thought in mind that the judge may be more favorable to my defence?0 -
NO! You do not want the case heard on papers. See this thread for reasons why not: -AffiaAngel said:I have filled out the questionnaire now but the only issue is this one is laid out slightly different, D1 being the question "Suitability for determination without hearing".
