lucyhope said:Hi all. Still potting away, still on track despite hubby being in hospital for almost 3 weeks and taxis every day. He was in the local general hospital for 2 weeks after another heart attack.
The cardiology team decided he was staying there until a bed was available for him at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield where the specialist team for his particular surgery were.
An ambulance trip at midnight (not on blue lights but the only time he could be picked up) and the following afternoon was in theatre, then home the following day -he says he feels like a new man an certainly looks better than he has done for years. Hopefully we will get our trip on the West Highland Line that was cancelled last year due to strikes.Guess what my sealed pot savings are ear marked for!

#20 declaring £658.00
I set up a high-interest new savings account as advertised on MSE and dumped all my savings into it, so I've lost track of things like eB*y sales as it's all mixed in together with weekly savings, my £1-a-day challenge money that I still do (despite not being in that challenge on here any more) and the lump sum my mum very kindly gave me. So I've just counted what was in my Plum virtual account and from Day #1 of the next challenge I'll make sure to put my eB*y money into a separate account as there is probably quite a bit of it that I'm not counting. I only have about £6 on Quidco to come so haven't counted that.
Still chuffed with that figure though! Onwards....!SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
