Hi all. Still potting away, still on track despite hubby being in hospital for almost 3 weeks and taxis every day. He was in the local general hospital for 2 weeks after another heart attack.

The cardiology team decided he was staying there until a bed was available for him at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield where the specialist team for his particular surgery were.

An ambulance trip at midnight (not on blue lights but the only time he could be picked up) and the following afternoon was in theatre, then home the following day -he says he feels like a new man an certainly looks better than he has done for years. Hopefully we will get our trip on the West Highland Line that was cancelled last year due to strikes.Guess what my sealed pot savings are ear marked for!
Glad to hear he's doing OK after his emergency trip to the NGH - just a mile down the road from me and yes, the cardiology dept is one of the best.

I’m off to the NGH tomorrow for a scan. A great hospital but my health anxiety still gets the better of me at each appointment unfortunately.  Hope your hubby is ok x
