    Evening all.

Potted another £2 coin today, Plum pot is up to £512.84 and I've potted eB*y sales of £42.69.  Although on that subject, I've now had a couple of buyers contact me "after I've left feedback" to say there was an issue with the sale - either the item itself or the postage!  Not sure whether it's genuine or a means to try and get some money back.  My suspicious mind says the latter, because why would you leave feedback first?

In other news, DH's consultant emailed him just over a week ago in the evening, to let him know that the results of his most recent MRI showed his tumour is stable so at his next appointment we will discuss next steps which, as things stand, will be the ablation.  So that was good news.  Bless him he has worked so hard at getting his numbers down, and we were beginning to think it was looking promising because his diabetic nurse made a point of calling to say his numbers were under the threshold for the op, and the CT scan he was sent for is used (in some cases) as a means to map where needles, etc., will go for a liver biopsy - he hasn't even had that yet!

In related health news, I've got shingles!  Bizarrely found out on Friday, a day after one of my friends.  Although she lives in Somerset so no connection there.  Our GP has a new phone system which wasn't working properly on Friday so cost me the chance of an appointment during the day, so I had to visit the local hub at 8.00 Friday night.  I was already aware from my friend that you can be prescribed antiviral medication but only within 3 days of first symptoms, so was very much on the clock and insistent when I did speak to my surgery, that I needed to see someone not least because of OH's situation even though they aren't 'contagious' in the traditional sense.  He isn't on chemo or anything but I suspect his immunity is lower than the normal person.  Anyway I managed to be seen and get the antivirals, after a quick dash to the local Boots.  Phew!  All told I feel fine, been a bit headachey and 'meh' today, plus the very small rash is a bit itchy, but otherwise OK and hoping I can stay that way!

Stay well and take care all x

    Good evening everyone.

A few £2 coins have gone into one of my tins today, the other tin has mainly coopers in it but its getting heavy - no idea how much is in either of them, but that was really what I wanted to do, not keep an exact count.

Life has been crap for me the past year, Mum started to get ill last August, finally passing late November, leaving me an inherited house to sell (to a nephew & his partner). But after a few muck ups, including ones made by the useless and slow solicitors, it does look like the house sale is finally, finally, going through. This Friday is the completion date.

    I don't want a long holiday, I need a long holiday.

Hope everyone reading is okay - have a nice evening all

    Hello everyone.

Not checked in for a very long time, but I'm still filling my pot with whatever change I have.
£5 went in on saturday from a FB sale, which was my first in a while.
It's lovely and sunny here in NW Leicestershire and the forecast for the weekend is looking OK too.

    Happy potting!!

Hello, I am still around and still potting £30 on payday and a few coins here and there.  Going to the seaside tomorrow to see friends who have a caravan and then I'm coming back on my own as my son is staying; I'm not due to Hetty who is now 14 and can't get in the car etc.  I'll be glad of a break to be honest, summer holidays and working full time are not a great mix.  I plan to paint my study so we'll see how far I get.  May have to tighten my belt over the next few months so the pot will come in useful; got a universal credit award of £0 so I've gone back and queried the migration transitional protection my migration letter said I was covered by.  We will see......

Morning Potters, sending hugs and positivity to all who need it 🤗

Summer seems to have well and truly deserted us 😳 I really would like to have some warm sunny evenings before I store the garden furniture away for the winter. Fingers crossed for a better September 🙏

Another £10 in the pot this week. Keep potting everyone, Declaration Day will soon be here.

Hi at last Potters! I'm perfectly ok this time, but oh dear did I ever mess up my phone and Tablet!! 🙄
We've got a new ISP as our old one wanted £54 per month!! 😯 So we needed new email addresses. I thought I'd try a Yahoo one and in so doing managed to mess up both my Phone and the entire Tablet (easier to use SPC) because of taking out Google!!! 😲 I'd managed to entirely take Google off from them both!!  😩 It turned out all right for both... after a complete rigmarole which has taken a three weeks or more for them to believe I DID own my mobile and my Tablet. What a ruddy parlava! 😩 Then which email did I use??? 🤔😮‍💨I just hope everything is alright now and that I'll be back with you all trouble free! I'm not banking on it, so please bare with me

I hope you're all very well and that those who are poorly or low are soon feeling much better. Love from us all at SPC ❤️

Welcome back kr147!! You new No is 036

Very well done on potting the £4 of your partner's, Saver-upper!! Keep looking out for more. 😀
Brilliant with your latest £10.00 too!!

I had hoped one of you would come on the thread saying how great the new forum is, Hummingbird!! Apparently not, well not yet anyway. 🙄 The last time it was changed it certainly wasn't for the best.
Well done on potting another 2 x £2!!

Lovely to see you RavenRover. It's good to hear you're still potting and gaining money from surveys! Nice work with the roadkill too!

    Fingers crossed, Siju
Brilliant potting with the £5! 😀
    Many thanks for welcoming back
    kr147

Excellent potting with your potting, LMD!! 🤩 Many thanks indeed, it was a lovely holiday, not great weather but 2 good days.

We certainly did thanks, Ant! Good to hear you've been potting well, with some roadkill too!! 😀

Hi Lucy, I hope I'll be alright as I always keep a ready-made app on my phone, so hopefully I might be able to go on the thread relatively soon in a minute, we'll see!

Brilliant work, Hicksy, it sounds as though you've been potting well! Great work!!

I'm pleased your DH isn't too bad, MrsShazbat, although he's clearly still got a fair way to go! He sounds similar to me re affects from several lots of pills making him so very tired. Thankfully, he now has the really comfy chair helping him when he gets so tired. Thoughts, hugs and prayers for him for sure. ❤️
    Fingers crossed for your car!
    Take care, your DH too.

Very well done with your potting Ant.
Well done with roadkill too! Great potting all round!!

Excellent cash and Prolific survey saves, LMD!! 👏

Brilliant potting, Lost!! 😀 Brilliant potting with your win via hubby too!!

I also wish summer would return, Siju. 🙄 I hope you were fortunate with the weekend weather with the family!😀

Excellent that you're so pleased with your car, MrsShazbat!! 👏👏
Good news also about your hubby!! All the VERY BEST WISHES for him!!
Oh no not shingles for you!😩 Well done on moving quickly to stop them becoming nasty! 😀 So very pleased for you.

Hi James, good potting but so sorry the solicitors have dragged their heals so much, call it coldly crafty!😡 With luck it should all have gone through for you now!
Time for that holiday you so need! 😀
Hello madlyn, I'm so pleased you've been potting and selling so very well. Keep going as it won't be long til October 26th!! 😲

It sounds as though things have been tough for you lately, Hetty. At least you're able to get on with things whilst Alex is away.
I do hope you succeed with finishing your study.🤞 All the very best for you.

We've both got the same wishes Siju, let's just hope we're fortunate. However, I'm so very grateful we haven't had the awful weather that many countries have suffered, especially Greece, Canada and the flooding in China! This time last year it was a very different story for us too!
    Great potting again! 😀

Have a lovely BH Monday folks!

    Sue

NB folks: Opening date for SPC 16 is 26th October 2023 maybe a little before, but please NO LATER!
Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!  So please just ask and you will be made very welcome.

So glad you're finally back Sue-UU 😍 sorry to hear about your technical problems, it's just so frustrating sometimes. I quite agree, a showery summer is definitely preferable to the awful wildfires many countries have endured this summer.

Another £5 for me this week. Have a lovely Bank Holiday everyone 😀
