Sealed Pot Challenge ~ 16

Hi everyone.
Anyone want a cough and sore throat? free to a good home.
this is the second time since Christmas I've had it.
I've joined an online challenge to walk 1000 miles in 2023, so while I'm on my walks I keep an eye out for any roadkill.
£15 potted on Saturday from selling a coat on FB marketplace, that was sat in my wardrobe and I had not worn for 2 years.

Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately.  Combination of work and a dog who everything he sees me lifting my tablet sits on me.  Would be cute if he was a wee sausage dog but he is a big border  collie so bit harder to ignore 😄
Even thought I have been MIA I have been potting.  Haven't kept a note but definitely lots of £2 coins and a couple of copper roadkill plus putting some into a separate digital account.
Fell off the wagon yesterday with a visit to the city🥴 !

@rancid-a I also found probate stressful to deal with as they wouldn't accept my mother's will, so I feel your pain too!  Definitely take a copy of anything you do send and if you do need to email or speak with someone, they are generally helpful.

Quiet here at the moment, just trying to get through January and looking forward to spring.  Another £5.81 in the pot today.  Enjoy your week and stay safe and warm

Well done Ant!! No matter where the money comes from, it's far better potted rather than possibly allow it to fritter away! More brilliant potting, Ant, and I'm so so glad the 365 challenge is going so well!

I will be so very pleased when this bitter weather is over, I know there's more to come in about a month's time, but at least it'll give us some respite in between. I know winters in the 60s were bitter, but they've been a fair bit milder since, or seem to have been, but this one in the COL crisis has been so different and harder to handle! Still, it'll at least make it kinder for Climate Change.

Hello James, Good Heavens above you've been kept so very busy recently! 

Re your mum's estate, I hope hope you've taken the great advice of @Keedie and @LittleMissDetermined, they've obviously both been through it all and I for one have found their advice wonderfully helpful.

Little wonder you haven't taken much notice of the money you've put in your pot, all be revealed on, or before Oct 26th! 

As Ant has said though, look forward to the better times ahead as the probate will soon be a distant memory.

All being well your 1000 miles should achieveable during the year, roughly 3 miles a day shouldn't be too bad, all the best with it. Very well done with your FB sale, £15 potted is great!!

Don't worry MrMrsR, about going awol, you're here now. You've also saved via an old jar, no problems whatsoever, but beware of taking any money to anywhere such as metro counting machine, they charge you at least 10% for pleasure!!! You need your money so please don't give it to others!!

Even though you're not too sure of the amount you've saved recently, from what you say, it sounds an amount well worth having potted!! Make sure your dog doesn't sniff any out!!

So it's been quiet with you then, Siju - quite a change! I don't like wishing time away, but it'll be such a relief once spring is here! Once the Snowdrops are up they'll let us know it's just around the corner, such a relief after this bitter and terribly expensive winter!!!

 Im also doing the 365 1p challenge, but that one is virtual, so I will pop in 'real' hard cash, well more like pennies I suspect, but it will all add up!
